12. Friends

" soulmate? Kita. Our friend is really gone crazy in love. " fuse said and hit kita on the arm.

"Shut up... It’s just that... You wouldn’t understand..." tess thought for a moment. No one is gonna believe their universe travelling story. They were really soulmates that's why they got back here.

" We were best friends in high school.  And we stopped talking because I was a jackass and insulted him. You see he confessed to me at the end of our high school. I was a hypocrite and said I wasn’t gay and worse stuff than i... Kissed his other best friend... That girl liked me... But when she found out that tun liked me too she broke up. She broke up for the sake of their friendship and she was so guilty that she couldn’t face tun anymore... But I'm shameless...  I fell for him" tess said and pulled his hair.

"That's messed up. He must hate you now. But you two are making movies together now." kita said

"Yeah... He forgave me and he likes me too. So... I wanna confess. "

" do it. I don't think you need any ideas" fuse said

"I do... I wanna do something special...  Because he is a very special someone to me"

"Then... Call him and ask him to meet you. We'll hang out and ask him what he likes and what his ideal date is" fuse said

" Really? You think that will work out?"

"Yeah, why not? " fuse said. Tess took his phone out of his pocket and dialled tun's number. After a couple of rings, tun picked it up.

" Sorry I was showering so I couldn’t pick it up quickly  "

" It's fine... I just called to say Let's meet at the bar tomorrow night. I'll tell up and aou to come too. Ummm... Kita and fuse want to come too so Let's hang out. "

"Okay fine. Meet you at 7 then. Bye" tun almost hung up but tess seemed to want to talk more.

" umm wait! What are you doing right now?  "

" umm... Standing in the bathroom in the cold... Hang up quickly!  I have to wear some clothes!" explicit images started flashing in Tess's mind. Tess felt like his face was heating up. Tess hung up as soon as possible and threw the phone beside him.

"Dude! What did your lover boy say that made you this red?!" kita held tess by his shoulder.

" Don't ask"

" We need to know! Tell us!" fuse forced him.

"He was... He just... Came out of the shower"

" so?  "

" he asked me to hang up first because he was cold... He needed to wear some clothes first" kita and fuse made eye contact with each other and burst out laughing.  Tess rolled in the bed embarrassed.

On the other hand, tun was still standing in the bathroom dumbfounded why tess suddenly hung up without saying bye. Did he somehow make tess offended?

"I better apologise to him tomorrow."

Tun entered the bar with a gloomy face. He met his parents this morning and they were asking him to date, someone, as he hasn’t dated Someone for a long time. They said he needs to date someone so he can get married when the time comes. Their parents want him to marry even though he thinks marriage doesn’t matter. He told his parent he will find a good guy soon.
He saw his friends in a corner. He was a bit late to join them. Tess had an empty seat beside him so he went there and sat. Tess was smiling like an idiot. 

"Hi. Why are you late? Is everything alright?  " tess asked and tun sighed. Tun wanted tess to propose soon. But he wasn’t sure tess was ready yet.

"Nothing. Just talked with my parents.  They are happy about my success. "
