Ashton's POV:  July 4th, 2022. 11pm

No one really knows what we do.

We aren't forced to do it.

Hell, we love to do it.

It brings out the adrenaline, the rush. It's the feeling of getting rid of the scum that's on this earth that drives us all wild.

We are hitmen. We get hired by randoms, we get told what they do, we research it, and we get the job done for some extra cash in our pockets.

Except for casino guy, he just fucked with the wrong people.

No harm done when we get rid of the people who do no good being alive.

Calum, Michael and I are all standing in a random room under the hotel. The only access to this room was a single door, in and out from the outside. The lounge we all were in had two rooms and a bathroom. One of the rooms being a recording studio for musicians, and the other room having just a couch and a single wooden table in it. It seems as if this room was meant to be hidden away from everyone. Which was almost perfect, because that's exactly what we needed.

And thanks to Tony, he booked hotels meant for musicians to stay in, being the reason behind the recording studio.

Which means, the walls are completely soundproof.

"Is Luke even coming back?" I look at Michael.

"He will be," Michael nods, "I don't see him missing out on this."

"There you guys are."

Speak of the devil and he shall return.

Luke enters the room, having changed out of his concert attire into a black hoodie and sweatpants. The hood rested lazily on the top of his head, seemingly trying to hide his appearance on his way down here.

"Get her back okay?" I ask.

Luke turns to me, a bit of a glare in his eyes, "yes ash, I did."

What the fuck is his deal?

"Did I do something to piss you off?" I chuckle.

"It's just that it's highly convenient that anytime I'm with her and having a moment, someone always manages to interrupt." Luke barks.

"It's not my fucking fault we have a job, have your "moment" with Avana later."

"Will both of you shut the hell up?" Calums voice raises a bit.

"We have a job to do and you're both acting like children." Michael adds.

Speaking of, that "job" was starting to wake up.

The groans  coming from the man who sat tied to his chair causes us all to turn to him.

While Luke had walked Avana back to her room, Calum, Michael and I went on the lookout to find his ass.

He was an easy find, however.

Michael pointed to the man we know as George, peeking behind a food truck, watching all the young girls walking by and snapping photos on his phone while doing so.

George is just scum on this earth. That's all there is too it.

I may be sick in the head, but I'm a perfect angel compared to guys like him. People like him shouldn't get to walk around this beautiful earth so freely. Preying on the innocent, and getting away with it.

Until tonight.

Calum managed to sneak up behind George. Chloroforming him with the rag he always kept in his left pocket. And once George was down, Mikey and I wrapped him around our shoulders, walking away with him to the exit of the festival.
