27: Rumor Has It

We have been walking into the darkness for so long. I've askdd aerea if she knew where we were going but she says she only seen him once.

I knew these passageways, I looked to my right and i knew that was the passageway to my chambers.

It was just me and my children walking into the darkness.

In a matter of seconds, i heard aerea's scream as she ran into the darkness.

For god sakes!

I held onto my son's arm and ran with him.

When we saw aerea's lantern, we saw her embracing a man.. A man with white hair and one eye.

I stiffened as i looked at aemond. Tears formed in my eyes.

Aerea pulled away as i looked at aemond with my teary eyes, i embraced him as he took me in his arms.

His hair was cut short. I sobbed.. The man i longed for.. The man i loved was right in front of me.

But how was he alived if vhagar died? Did he claim another dragon.

"Aemond" i embraced him as i cried onto his chest. I was raising our children for so long without him, seeing him again made me happy.

He looked at me and made our lips collide it wasn't long til we pulled away. "I have to go.. I can't stay here any longer.." wait what? My brows furrowed as he kissed aerea's forehead.

He took aeron in his arms and embraced him. "Why? Aemond you can stay here with us!" Is he going again..

Is he going to leave us again?

"I can't.. If they found out that i came here and went back to you.. They will kill helaena and her children... That's what made me fake my fate" That's what made him?

He faked it so that the greens won't kill helaena and her children.

"I love you.. All of you. Aerea has grown into a great and amazing woman and aeron has grown to look like me" he chuckled.

I chuckled as tears formed in again. I can't stop myself from crying.

"Aeron.. Protect your sister and your mother until i come back" he embraced all of us again.

"Vermithor is waiting for me.. I love you" he kissed me in the lips once again before running back to the darkness.

On the way back, i was still tearing up from joy. Aemond's alive but now i have to make a new plan.

When we arrived at aerea's room again, i said my goodbyes and called for another meeting.

This was a important meeting that we need to discuss..

"Your Grace" One of the council members bowed in respect as he sat down in his chair.

"Where are the others?" i asked him. It was already the night of the owl but i don't care.

"Lord Lucerys along with his family Is on the way here" He informed me. My mother and father is already asleep. I don't want to bother them.

Eserion was already awake along with rhaena.

It was hard for lucerys to be here as he lives in driftmark, he lives with lady baela velaryon. Along with their kids. Baelon, Viserra, and Sierra.

It wasn't long til the council was complete.

"We will need a new plan" i said. "Aemond is alive, I've saw him myself. He cannot leave the greens as his family held helaena and her children hostage, aemond does not want to leave his lady sister" I explained.

The council muttured as they heard me say I've saw aemond myself.

The council never doubted me.

"Well we will need his cooperation. We need to know the greens every move so we can plan a escape plan for him, his sister, and her sister's children" Eserion said, the council agreed.

I sighed before placing my hands in the table, standing up.

"Attack the stepstones, clear their armies" I ordered.

Oh alicent, i will make sure you see your power hungry father's head as you made me see celeste.

I will make sure to let her see the mad queen.
