"You are no son of mine! A traitor for god sakes! Why have you impregnate her! Out of all women!?" Mother shouted in frustration as she slapped me.

I was used to this ever since i was a kid.

"Argh! Traitor!" She slapped me once again.

"You never even thought of me as your son.. Is it because I'm not heir? And that i am not important in your pretty image" She looked at me with such disgrace.

"I've done everything you've asked.. Because maybe i was that desperate for my mother's attention. You have always said that you've change but in reality you are still the Lady Alicent Hightower who is still being manipulated by her own father" she looked at me as tears formed in her eyes. She slapped me.

"You a-are a-a d-disgrace.. t-to this family" she sobbed. I've already felt like one ever since, mother.

"You will be wed once the second moon has come. Your bride will be Lady Rhines Of House Baratheon"

"I will not marry a whore from storm's end and i will not marry unless it is princess alysanne targaryen" i knew my mother is about to reach her limit but she can reach it anytime.

"Then i will make sure to have your head!" She shouted as she grabbed a cup and threw it on the floor.

"Have my head mother but I'll make sure I'll have yours first' i left the room, as i went to vhagar, my dragon.

I want this to end.. I just want to be with alysanne and our children..

Why have this war.

I went to vhagar, i mounted him and flew to dragonstone where i will bent my knee to alysanne.

I wanted to marry her.

As i flew down, i dismounted vhagar and i walked through the bridge on the way to the castle where i was stopped by their men.

Their swords pointed at me.

"I do not wish to fight anyone.. I've came here in peace" I stood as the blacks came out of the castle with their dragons crawling on top of the castle roaring.

"How do you expect me to believe that?" Rhaenyra entered as she walked alongside lady baela and rhaena velaryon.

As i saw alysanne, she looked shock to see me.

"I do not have any companions except for vhagar. I have came here to bend my knee to princess alysanne targaryen and the blacks" Everyone looked to alysanne as she looked at me with her eyes in such worry.

"Do you think I'm a fool, prince aemond?" rhaenyra glanced at me.

"My family does not know that I've came here to bend my knee to you and i don't have any plans of telling them. I have came here to bend my knee to you and ask for the princess's hand" Whispers were heard.

I said what i said. I do not wish to fight for my family any longer.

"Disarm him" rhaenyra muttured under her breathe as guards came towards me.

I took my sword out and gave it to them.

"Stay here for a while.. But that does not mean that we accept you just yet. My council will still have to have a discussion about that.. Tomorrow you'll have your answer" Rhaenyra says as she walked along with her council back to the castle

I saw alysanne's face as she walked towards me. "You are such a bastard" she scoffed as i formed a small smile.

I walked into her room, and saw our child lying down in a cradle. "You know, I've picked an egg for both of them" she says as she sat down in her bed while i stood to admire our children.

"Silverwing has laid over 8 eggs, i wish to give two or three eggs to lucerys and baela's children in the future" she chuckled, as showed me two eggs near the cradles.

She opened the cover, and i saw two white eggs, the eggs were glimmering as they were in the fire.

I looked at the eggs.. "Why?" she looked at me.

"What if those eggs do not hatch? I do not want our children to grow where they would have to be teased for not having a dragon" i do not wish for my children to have the same pain i went through without a dragon.

I was teased by many children, i hated it more than anything.

"Well there's a big chance but we have to hope that they will" she smiled as she covered the eggs again.

The sun has already set and i didn't realise it because i was too busy admiring my children.

I never wished to have children of my own ever since i was a child but now that i do, i wanted to protect them fron any harm.

I had stayed in alysanne's room, and i slept there until tomorrow, i wanted to know early.

I woke up early as i was called by the queen. She wanted to talk to me privately.

And just like what i expected, alysanne was scared.

"Have a seat" she says as we were both seated at the balcony, dragons flew in the sky as the sea was calmer than ever.

"I've called to talk to you and also to tell you, the council's answer"

Rhaenyra inhaled before she spoke. "The council thinks I'm crazy for allowing you stay here with us.. But i allowed you for a reason"

"I know you are the father of alysanne's children.. I know everything and I've saw how you protected her and how you didn't harm or do anything wrong to her" she added as she drank tea from the cup.

I listened to her, what i wanted is to marry her. Nothing else.

"You see.. Alysanne will be the next queen.. I do not see myself as the next queen because of the realm, they now see me as the bitch queen, and if i try to reclaim the throne, the seven kingdoms will fall along with the targaryen dynasty" She explained.

What? Fall? What does she mean?

My brows furrowed. "What do you mean by fall?"

"Once the lords of the seven kingdoms know that the house of the dragon has been divided into two sides, they will have a chance to defeat house targaryen and we will fall alongside the seven kingdoms" i knew she was right. House of the dragon isn't fearsome as it has been divided into sides.

"Just like what the people say.. The only thing that can tear the house of the dragon was itself" she added as she drank tea.

I grabbed the wine cup and took a sip. "I've made a decision and so did daemon.. If you bent your knee and swore your loyalty to alysanne tomorrow once she is to be crowned the new queen, then you will be wed after her coronation"

I was finally going to be wed to the woman i loved. I've thanked rhaenyra for her kindness yet what she just told me right now was a lot of information.

I was far more than glad to know that she trusts me.

"You should get ready for tomorrow..I'll be seeing you Prince aemond" she says before she left along with her ladies.
