Jones was the only one in the room that didn't seem the slightest bit worried about the Daleks presence in the room. In fact he didn't even flinch or step back as the creatures rolled towards the group that consisted of him, Rose, Mickey and Rajesh.

''Exterminate! Exterminate! Exterminate!''

''Daleks! You're called Daleks. I know your name. Think about it how can I know that? A human who knows about the Daleks and the Time War. If you want to know how, then keep us alive. That's all I'm asking. Me and my friends,'' Jones was impressed by how confident Rose was in the situation.

''Yeah, Daleks. Time War. Me too,'' Mickey added.

''Yeah. And me,'' Rajesh also said.

''You will be necessary. So will the solider,'' The Dalek stated.

''Oh I'm glad you noticed me. Oh and its Commander Jones by the way,'' Jones replied from his position behind Mickey and Rose.

''A solider of the universe, scan for others,'' It ordered.

''Don't waste your energy it's just me,'' Jones added.

''He speaks the truth, no others are detected,'' One of the other Daleks replied.

''What is the status of the Genesis Ark?'' The first Dalek asked the other three that were behind it. As it spoke they all moved around an object that looked a bit like a Dalek.

''Status, hibernation,'' One of the Daleks confirmed, before they all moved away once again.

''Commence awakening. The Genesis Ark must be protected above all else,'' The black Dalek, which had been the one in conversation, ordered the rest of them.

''The Daleks. You said they were all dead,'' Mickey whispered towards Rose.

''Never mind that. What the hell's a Genesis Ark?'' Rose asked looking back a Jones, but he just shook his head, not even he knew.

Violet was stood by the window, the Doctor, Jackie, Yvonne and the Cyberleader were all stood next to her. She sighed, all of it could have been prevented if only she'd had the courage to go back and stop Torchwood because without them the Cybermen would have just been like ghosts lost in the void, but Torchwood had to just find a way to open it.

''What's down there? She was in that room with the sphere. What's happened to Rose?'' Violet heard Jackie say, she was truly afraid for her daughter and no amount of reassure would persuade her that Rose was safe.

''I don't know. I'll find her. I brought you here, I'll get you both out, you and your daughter,'' The Doctor said and he sounded serious and he always tried to keep his promises.

''look at me. Look at me. I promise you. I give you my word,'' Jackie tried to get the Doctor to say but the drooling voice of the Cyberman stopped him before he could say anything.

''You will talk to your central world authority and order global surrender.''

''Oh, do some research. We haven't got a central world authority,'' Yvonne replied rather rudely.

''You have now. I will speak on all global wavelengths. This broadcast is for human kind,'' The Cyberleader spoke moving away from the window and walking off. Moments later it returned and looked out of the window again.

''I ordered surrender,'' The Cyberman said as it looked and saw people running and trying to attack the metal robots.
''They're not taking instructions. Don't you understand? You're on every street, you're in their homes, you've got their children! Of course they're going to fight,'' The Doctor snapped.
