''Tell you what I will do, though. Christmas dinner. Oh, come on,'' The Doctor had dropped Donna back home and after inviting her to travel with him, she denied, but offered him Christmas dinner.

''I don't do that sort of thing,'' The Doctor replied politely decaling her offer.

''You did it last year. You said so. And you might as well, because Mum always cooks enough for twenty,''

''Oh, all right then. But you go first. Better warn them. And don't say I'm a Martian. I just have to park her properly. She might drift off to the Middle Ages. I'll see you in a minute,'' The Doctor then stepped inside his Tardis and immediately the engine begun to hum to life.

''Doctor! Doctor!'' The red head screamed at the top of her lungs.

''Blimey, you can shout,'' The Doctor called out as he poked his head around the door of the Tardis.

''Am I ever going to see you again?'' She asked.

''If I'm lucky,'' He replied with a shrug.

''Just promise me one thing. Find someone,'' Donna spoke.

''I don't need anyone, I've got my daughter and her friend to pick up, they're all I need,'' The Doctor said truthfully.

''Good. Because sometimes, I think you need someone to stop you.''

''Yeah. Thanks then, Donna. Good luck. And just be magnificent,'' He turned to shut the door, but Donna spoke stopping him again.

''I think I will, yeah. Doctor?''

''Oh, what is it now?'' He huffed.

''That friend of yours. What was her name?''

''Her name was Rose.''

Jones sat at one of the tables in the hall bored out of his mind. Violet had been talking to him, but she has been dragged off by Maria and Joe to cut the cake and she'd never returned.

''Commander Michael Jones,'' The voice in his head startled at him, but once he recognised it he calmed down a little.

''The face of Boe, what can I do for you,'' He replied glad that he had someone to talk to once again.

''When you go travelling again, focus on the one thing that is completely consistent. A name, a place, a person. Because the year that never was is soon approaching. The impossible year,'' The leaving Jones utterly stunned The face of Boe turned and wheeled away in his tank.

As Jones was left mulling over what he had just been told The face of Boe made his way over to the newly married Time Lady and uttered three words that caused her heart to beat faster and for all the colour to drain from her face.

''He isn't real.''

---

''Are you ok,'' Joe asked Violet as they entered her room.

''Yeah why?'' She replied stumbling over her words slightly.

''You just seemed quiet,'' He said moving to kiss her, but she moved back a little. Even she was shocked at how quickly she'd backed away from him.

''I'm sorry, it's just I think it's this new body. I don't feel well,'' Lie, was that the type of person she was now, a lair.

''I get don't worry,'' This time he hugged her, at least she didn't move away, but to her something didn't feel right.

That was when the words the Devil and The face of Boe had said to her came drifting into her mind 'He isn't real.' She felt at that second she was questioning the existence of every male figure in her life.

---

It had been a week since the wedding and everything seemed to be back to normal, but for Violet and Jones it didn't feel normal. They had expected the Doctor to be back by now, however, he hadn't.

''Ok time for you lot to get some rest meet back here in thirty minutes,'' With that the Soldiers in front of Jones and Violet dispersed and went off for their break.

''If we're back that would be something,'' Jones muttered so only Violet could hear him, she was confused at first, but when she turned around she realised what he had meant. Before them a few meters away sat an old fashioned blue British telephone box and the door was open inviting them inside.

With a quick glance around them and then at each other they smiled and ran inside. The door shut behind and with its signature noise the Tardis faded before disappearing giving the impression that it had never been there.

However, one person had seen it disappear and he smirked because he knew that he'd see all three of them in the future very soon.

Next book will probably start with smith and Jones. so look out for that coming soon it will be called the impossible year and I'll give you an update for when its up. See you guys soon ;)
