Regina's Pov
"is it really you Regina?" Roxy asked
She had teary eyes and her hand that was holding the knife was shaking.
I nodded
Looking into my eyes to see if I was lying. Seeing that I wasn't lying, she dropped her knife and pounced on me wrapping her arms around my waist.
"I..I thought I'll never see you again." Roxy said sobbing
Strapping my gun back to my thigh, I wrapped my arms around her comforting as she cried.
*10 minutes later*
It took her about ten minutes to stop crying. At least it didn't take an hour for her to stop crying like she did in the past.
"You done?" I asked looking at her
Wiping her tears, she nodded
"How...How are you alive? That hell hole exploded when you and the others were still in there." Roxy asked
"Because we were the ones that bombed the place. Before that event happened, we were all transferred to different branches. I was in the main branch as you know that I was their main experiment that was successful." I said thinking of all the pain and torture I had to go through since I was three
"What about the others? Are they ok?" Roxy asked worriedly
"They're all ok but Owen, he betrayed us in the end." I said
"WHAT! Why would he do that?" Roxy asked with shocked eyes
Sighing, I started explaining everything that happened that year.
After saying the last part, both me and Roxy shedded tears from the story.
"Why..why did you have to kill him?" Roxy asked
"That's the law in the Mafia world. When one betrays you, you have to eliminate them permanently or you'll have to bare the consequences of letting them go. You know that,Roxy. Don't forget there were people who tried to set us free from the place but died in the end. We were either born or brought into this world, so we know consequences of being a traitor." I said
Roxy thought about and nodded, knowing that I was telling the truth.
This is how the Mafia world has been like since it was created and it will be till the end.
"How did the others take it when you killed him?" Roxy asked
"After I killed him, everyone took it pretty bad especially Ava. She was in love with him during that time. He was a big brother to me and the girls and a little brother to Oliver and Noah." I said
Sighing, I took out my phone to check the time to see it was already one-thirty in the morning.
"It's already already pass midnight. How about you come and stay with us for the time being?" I asked Roxy
She immediately nodded her head with a huge smile.
I chuckled
"But first, it's best if you get cleaned up. You have blood all over you and I don't want it in my car. I'll call a clean up crew for bodies." I said
She nodded, walking out of the room making sure that no one sees her.
*20 minutes later*
It took the cleaning crew about fifteen minutes to clean up the bodies as they had to sneak in from the back entrance.
Sitting on the couch in the private room, I waited for Roxy to finish up while watching youtube.
Hearing the door opening to see Roxy finished up.
