Regina's Pov
"So, that everything that happened tonight before you came." I said, looking out the window
"That family is really fucked up, especially that bitch,Emma." Ava said
"I know that's why I want these five months to end quickly." I said looking Ava
Stopping at the red light, Ava turned and looked straight into my eyes.
"Regina, I'm going to tell you the truth. You don't really need them since you have me, Noah, Oliver, Kim, Elijah, Isabella, and Uncle Leo. We're your real family, not by blood, but by heart." Ava said
"I know that and I'm grateful for having you guys in my life and believing in me when I told you my story back then." I said
"Regina, I can tell you a few things is that, Sarah is trying to fix the mother-daughter relationship that you two had years ago. Your brother, Ross, loves you even when you were blamed for murdering your unborn sister. Lastly, your little sister, Alessia just wants to gain the love of her older sister since Aria probably didn't give her that love. Before the months go by, Regina try to spend time with them because you know those people are still out there looking for us." Ava said
I understand what Ava is trying to say. She wants me to spend time with those who truly love me in that family before we have to disappear again to cover our tracks before they find us.
Those people don't know that Elijah and Isabella exist and we can never let them know or else my children will have to go through that same torture like I did when I was three.
"Thanks Ava, for speaking your mind and telling me." I said
When the light turned green, Ava turned away from me and pressed lightly on the accelerator.
"You're welcome,Regina and you're like a sister...no, you are my sister. Of course I have to look out for you." Ava said
"Have you guys found out about any of their bases, yet?" I asked
"We've located a few of their bases and sent some of our men to watch over them. The bases are located in
San Francisco, California
Puebla,Mexico
Rome,Italy
Athens, Greece
and lastly Lagos, Nigeria. These are where their bases are and we're in the location of one of their bases." Ava said
After hearing Ava finish listing the places where their bases were,I noticed that I was in the state of one of their bases back in America and now, I'm directly in the location of the other bases.
"So, we're basically in enemy territory right now without them knowing that we're here and the De Luca family doesn't know of their existence and them being in their territory." I said
"Yes, they're unaware of us being here and as for the De Luca family, they probably noticed strange activities going on in their territory and investigating it as we speak." Ava said
"We have a lot on our plate. Wait, didn't Noah tell me that we have a meeting with the British Mafia about the alliance?" I asked
"You finally remember,huh? You don't have to worry about it. Noah already went to our base back in Marseille, France yesterday." Ava said
"That's good to know at least. So, how are my babies doing since I was gone?" I asked
"Being little demons like always, but they miss you." Ava said
"It's good that they're doing well. Did you guys erase our existence back in San Diego?" I asked
"We made sure everything was taken care of and erased." Ava said
Feeling a little tired, I laid back and closed my eyes.
"I'm taking a nap for a few minutes. Wake me up when we at the house."
After saying that, I slowly drifted off to sleep.
Unknown's Pov
*They're speaking Swahili*
In a simple yet luxurious office was a woman in her mid-sixties sitting behind the desk and a man who was in his late thirties standing in front of.
"Je, umempata bado?" (Have you you found her yet?) I asked
"Hapana bibie. Bado tunamtafuta tunapozungumza." (No ma'am. We are still searching for as we speak.)
Sighing, I rub my temple do to all the stress.
"Unaweza kuondoka sasa."( You may leave now.)
Bowing to me, he then left out of the office and shut the door behind him.
The office was so silent that you can even hear a pin drop on the floor.
Picking up some documents, I started to search through them to found clues to where my little one was.
Hearing a knock on the door, I said 'come in' without looking up to see who it is.
"Mpenzi wangu, nina jambo la kukuambia." (My love, I have something to tell you.)
I looked to see my husband who I've known and love since I was little. We were basically childhood sweethearts.
"Ni nini, mpenzi? Nina shughuli kidogo sasa hivi." (What is it,honey? I'm a little busy right now.)
Walking behind the desk, he grabbed the documents out of my and placed them on the desk. Picking me, he sat down in the chair and sat me on his lap.
"Bado unamtafuta?"(You're still searching for her?) He asked while pulling me into a hug
"Ndiyo, tunakaribia kumpata. Kwa hivyo, ulitaka kusema nini hapo awali?"(Yes, we're so close to finding her. So, what did wanted to say earlier?) I asked
"Sarah alipiga simu na kusema kwamba wamempata." (Sarah called and said they found her.)
My body tensed up a little from he said.
"Wewe... Umesema nini?" (You... You said what?) I asked
"Walimkuta Regina."(They found Regina.)
After hearing what he said, I broke down in tears.
He pulled me closer to him and started rubbing my back.
They found her.
They found Regina.
They found my little one.
