Marcus' Pov
Exiting out of the footage, I leaned back in my chair and started to process everything that I saw in the footage.
Fourteen years.
Fourteen fucking years, that Aria has been lying to all of us.
Why would she kill her unborn sister in the process of almost killing her mother and brother?
Why would she blame Regina when the both of them were so close when they were little?
Now the main question is, who tried to erase the footage?
Why would they erase the footage while knowing the consequences of helping a person who killed a member of our family rather they were born or unborn?
There were so many questions going through my head.
Rubbing my temple, I sighed and grabbed my phone off of the desk.
Dialing a number, I put the phone to my ear and let it ring for a minute.
"Hello?"
"I need you to come to my office in the family house. I need to show you something." I said
"I'll be there in about twenty minutes."
Ending the call, I called Jason and told him to start searching for the one who tried to erase the footage and lied to me.
*20 minutes later*
Signing a few documents, I heard someone knocking on the door and told them to come in.
"You called for me."
"Yes, sit down we need to discuss something about the incident fourteen years ago." I said while going over to couch that was in the middle of my office
"What is it about?"
"I'm going to get straight to the point. The one who killed your unborn child that night wasn't Regina, but Aria." I said
"Wh..What?"
"If you don't believe me, I have the footage to prove it." I said
Grabbing the flashdrive and laptop, I installed the flashdrive and went straight to the footage.
Five minutes passed and the footage had ended.
"Why? Why would she do that?"
"Even I don't know why, but it was mostly likely because of jealousy. Not being the only girl at first and would soon have a new baby sister who will then take all the attention away from her." I said coldly
"Why would she think that just because other girl was born that we would forget about her?"
"She was favored more than Regina and it soon got to her head that she was the only princess needed in your family." I said
Getting up, I walked over to my glass cabinet and grabbed two wine glasses and a bottle of five hundred year old wine.
"I thought you might need some since it's been stressful for you for the past few months and you haven't had no wine for awhile." I said
"Half a glass. I'm trying to cut back on the drinking."
"So, did you go through with the divorce, Sarah?" I asked
"I have, Marcus. I know what we had together is now over." Sarah said while taking sip of her wine
"Lorenzo really lost himself a jewel. It's too late for him to try and get you back now. So, when are you going to tell the kids about the divorce?" I asked
