Regina's Pov
What the fuck is going on?
"You two know each other?" Zara asked
"You remember that time when I told you that my boyfriend went missing." Maria said
"You mean that he's-" Zara said
"Yep, meet my ex-boyfriend and baby daddy, Max Pierce." Maria said
"BABY WHAT?!"
Both me and Kim yelled at the same time. People heard us yelled and turned their attention to us.
"Sorry everyone, please go back to what you were doing." I said
After I said that, everyone went back to what they were doing earlier.
After seeing them going back to their business, I turned to Max to see him with a shock look and his mouth wide open.
"Did....did you just say baby?" Max asked
Maria replied with a nod
"Since when?" Max asked
"Three weeks after you left, I started showing symptoms of pregnancy. So, I went and bought a pregnancy test and went to the doctor as a safety precaution if the test was wrong. The test stated that I was pregnant and so did the doctor." Maria said
"Is... Is it a boy or a girl and how old are they?" Max asked
I can't believe a guy like Max had a girlfriend and got her knocked up.
"It's a boy and he's about to turn two next month." Maria said
"If...if I knew-" Max said
"Even if you know now, you can't change the fact that you left me and left our son that wasn't born yet." Maria said with tears forming in her eyes
"Maria, I...I can't explain it to you now. Just wait-" Max said
"Wait? I've waited for you for almost two years and you didn't come back. I felled into depression waiting for you. If it wasn't Zara who I meet when I was at my lowest, I would have committed suicide and our-. You know what, since I took care of him since the moment he came into this world and you weren't there, he's my baby and I could have taken his life along with me that day if Zara wasn't there for me."
After Maria said that, she got up from her seat and walked off.
"Regina, you guys go ahead and head back to the house. If my brothers ask about me, just tell them I'm staying with Maria tonight."
Saying that, Zara shot Max a glare and ran after Maria who was far ahead of her.
"Well..today was eventful." Roxy said
"I can agree with you on that." Ross said
I turned to Max trying to ask about the situation, but he walked off to the front entrance where we came in from.
"Ok, let's grab our stuff and go. We'll pick up something to eat on the way back." I said
Grabbing Bella's dress, I grabbed my babies' hands and walked to the front entrance.
Leaving out the mall, I saw Max standing there in a daze.
"Kim, you guys go ahead and get into the car." I said
Letting go of Elijah's and Bella's hands, I handed Kim Bella's dress and walked over to Max.
"Max, she's gone now. It's time for us to head back to the house. We'll pick up something to eat on the way back." I said, holding Max's shoulder
