Looking down at Roxy, she lets out a cute little yawn, sticking her tongue out. It causes a smile to pull at the corners of your mouth. With all the stress you have been under the past few weeks this was a nice change of pace.

"We need to talk..." Jeremy breathes out as he reaches down to pick up Hershey.

"Oh? About what?" You look over at him as he places this little dog in his lap.

He reaches over you and scratches Roxy behind the ears and you could swear you saw this dog smile. "I know this seems odd, but I read what you sent me and it made me realize how amazingly talented you are. Quite the total package, huh?"

You look down at the fluffy cuddle bug next to you as you fight back the slight blush of embarrassment. "I mean, I'm ok."

A finger is placed under your chin as it pulls your face over to your left. "Don't discredit yourself. You have natural talent. Plus, I would love to read more of your work." He drops his hand back into his lap.

There was a commotion outside of the trailer causing him to crane his neck to see if he could figure out what was going on. "Give me a second." He stands up placing Hershey next to you on the couch. "Don't go anywhere, please."

He buttons the Jacket to his suit and steps toward the door. He opens it and you can clearly hear shouting from two different females right outside of the doorway. You reach over to pet Hershey as the door to the trailer closes.

"Not like I'm going anywhere." You laugh under your breath.

You flinch slightly as there was a high-pitched scream and then you heard JR shout "STOP!"

The voices became hushed and you couldn't hear much after that. You were looking around the trailer as you hear your phone chime. Pulling it out of your pocket you see a text from one of your closest friends.

Where have you been? I've been trying to get in touch with you and you were not at the café this morning.

A smirk slowly spreads over the left side of your mouth. You knew that if you told her she wouldn't believe you, and then proceed to push for proof. You didn't want to get into that, but you knew you had to tell her something.

I'm out of the city for a bit, I'll call you when I'm back in town later. You are going to want to hear this

Placing your phone in your lap you hear the door open and Jeremy walks back in, but this time he had real blood on his face. It looks like something (or someone) scratched the side of his face.

"OMG you're bleeding! What happened?" You go to stand up, but he holds up his right hand, as he walks down the trailer to what you could only imagine was the bathroom.

After a few minutes he steps back out with a rag on his face. He had wiped off the make up, but the fresh scratch was very noticeable. Doing everything you can to not feel uncomfortable, you keep petting the dogs to keep your mind off it.

"I will say, some fans can be batshit crazy." He sits on the edge of the couch, trying not to disturb Hershey.

"That's what that was? Wow. How did she get in?" looking over at him he pulls the rag away from his face revealing the deep crimson mark.

"I don't know, but I need a breather after that fucking crazy shit." He pulls out a cigarette pack from the inside pocket of his jacket. Pulling one out he lights it and places the pack back in the pocket.

You try not to wrinkle your nose at the smell. You knew everyone had their different 'medicines' they used to cope, and you were not in a place to judge anyone. "So, was that it?" You look over at him trying to study him as he sat there. He had leaned forward with his elbows on his thighs. His left hand held out the cigarette while his right was rubbing his mouth.

"No..." He whispered out.

"No?" You hear how loud the word came out of your mouth and it made you clam up and lean back into the couch.

He turns his head to the right and you feel him looking at you, no not looking, more like gazing. There was softness in his eyes, but you could see pain there too. It was hard for you to be still and silent as your thoughts were racing through your head. Your eyes meet and you could see a haze over them, like someone who has not had enough rest in days.

"I don't know what it is, but I feel a calming when I'm around you. I don't fucking know." He hangs his head as he runs his right hand though his hair, then he takes a long drag from his cigarette. Standing up he walks to the door, but turns back to you doing his best to force a smile on his face.

"Jeremy, I am not just some fan girl you have to put this wall up for." You stand up off the couch as Roxy audibly complains that you moved her.

"I know..." He opens the door flicking the cigarette out onto the pavement. As he turns back to you he pulls the door closed.

"What is bugging you? I know what stress and deadlines do to me, but I can't say I have a crazy fan base." Stepping closer to him, you look up into his eyes again. There was that haze again, but this time you could see the color more clearly.

He reaches out his left hand grabbing your right. "I have some free time this evening, would you let me take you to diner?"

You look down at his hand, it was so large that it was almost as if yours would get lost in his. As your eyes are drawn back up to his, you watched as his face relaxed. You were shocked that he would want to spend his free time with you of all people.

"Hmm? What do you say?" He leans his head down as he takes a step closer to you.

There was a stirring in your stomach that you had not felt in years. What was it about you that made this man want to be this close to you? Either way, you were going to go with it and hope for the best.

"Sure, I don't see why not." Quietly escapes your lips.

"Great! Let me get out of this." He pulls at the jacket, "And we can go get some grub." He leans down and kisses your cheek before turning back to the door, walking out then closing it behind him.

"What the actual FUCK was that?" You say to yourself. Roxy stands up and shakes before sitting down. She looks at you and lets out a little 'AWOO' as you giggle to yourself.
