Chapter 52 The visitors.

A/N first off, IM BACK! That was a much needed break, I've got all the way to the last chapter planed >:3 also I have a schedule set up for posting so that it's better and less unexpected. Please read the authors note at the end of the chapter too. I am also needing more comments and votes, it's really discouraging when you don't leave comments for me, it makes me feel like you don't care. Anyways, enjoy :)

Chapter 52 The Visitors

I woke up ever so slightly, I came to a sudden realization that I was in fact, not dead, and was also in my bed. I sat up with a start coughing and wheezing. A hand patted me on the back, but I couldn't make out who it was because tears in my eyes blurred my vision. After I regained control of my lungs and the ability to breath like a proper human came, I looked over and saw that Harry was staring at me with concerned and furrowed eyebrows.

"What happened?" I asked, my voice shaking.

"You fell off the edge of the cliff next to the river, ten feet straight into the water. If you hadn't screamed we wouldn't have found you." Before I could ask my next question, he answered. "Your perfectly fine, Carlisle checked you, your good."

"But what if... What if there was something wrong with me! Something that he couldn't detect!" I was beginning to hyperventilate, and quickly, Harry's lips landed on mine.

"Your good." He whispered, and I took a deep shaking breath.

"I need to take a shower." I mumbled, getting up slowly.

"Very well. I-" He stopped talking and turned an ear toward downstairs. "Guess whose here." He said after a moment. Instantly I sprang forward, running to my door and down the hall, straight to the stairs where I saw Garrett and the other Denali's standing there.

"Get down here Clar-Bar! I missed you!" I don't care if I'm not even related to him through marriage, he is still my cousin in law, and I love him for that.

"Catch me Gar-Bar!" I yelled as I ran down the stairs and jumped forward off the last one into hugging him. He laughed and set me down.

"You want to-" He stopped talking and looked upstairs, when I turned around I saw Harry awkwardly standing there. "So your back."

"I've been back for a while." He countered, trotting down the stairs and wrapping his arms around my waist.

"So Clara, what do you want to do?" Garrett redirected his attention to me.

"What do I want to do? I want to take a shower, because I just fell in a river after getting lost while running for two hours, then stumbling around in the woods alone."

"You fell in a river!?" He said, eyebrows raised.

"Yup, but thanks to the fact that my boyfriend and entire family is vampires, I didn't get hurt." I shrugged like it was nothing.

"Y-you know?" He looked at me with a mixture of shock and relief.

"Yes." I said, shifting my weight from one foot to the other. "Now if you'll excuse me." I said, walking up the stairs, before I was out of war shot though, I heard Harry start speaking.

"I'm glad your here, all of you. I have something very important to ask." I made it to my bathroom, losing the conversation through the series of thick walls.

After my shower I changed into a pair of black leggings and a long white sweater that covered my butt. Putting on some slippers with hard soles and furry tops that covered the bottom of the leggings, I made my way to my bathroom again. I had bought this outfit for a 2010's dance we had at school, and just fell in love with how comfy it was, after that I just wore it for the purpose of lounging about, why would anyone want to walk around in leggings all the time? Honestly, I feel like I would feel exposed, like you where walking around in your underwear.

I trotted down the stairs and walked to the kitchen, grabbing a bottle of my organic vegetarian smoothie, cracking it open and walking into the living room, where I was greeted with sixteen sets of golden brown eyes, all staring at me. "Did I do something?" I asked after swallowing my drink awkwardly.

Yup, short chapter! I know! I know! What do you think of this? What do you think Harry had to ask? Warning though, the next chapter is also short, and won't be posted until 5/25/15 haha, yup, I'm going to make it so you wait a week for your new chapter (because I'm just cruel like that :3)
