Chapter 54 Bridesmaids
Clara's POV
"What kind of questions are those you big dummy? Of course." My voice was shaking with joy as he slid the diamond and sliver ring onto my finger, then stood up and hugged me, but I had other plans and pulled him into a kiss that surprised him enough to make me laugh, as we had never kissed in front of my family.
"Okay you two, break it up." Edward scolded this time.
"Forever?" I asked, looking in his eyes with tears in mine.
"Forever." He whispered and hugged me tight. "Forever and ever."

An hour later my house was filled with my friends, all of which had already known Harry was a vampire, and had figured out that my family was vampires. "Okay, so I'm suppose to be okay with the fact that everyone I know can identify vampires at a glance better than the one who use to be a hybrid, then a full blown one until she snapped." We where laughing and lounging outside, the sun shining down and causing everyone to sparkle like a bottle of glitter. While Jake was somehow soaking in an even better tan and Ness was just giving off a gentle glow.
"Pretty much." Felicity joked and I scoffed at her.
"No, what I want to know is how, how did you figure it out?" Carlisle asked.
The four girls exchanged looks and Caitlin jumped into explanation. "Well see, after we figured out Clara was hiding something, we started joking about what it was, we said vampire, her face gave it away, we confronted Harry thinking he had a mental disorder that made him think that, proved to us it was true, and then after we came here a couple times we all figured it for ourselves and Clara was the only clueless one. We didn't think about it because we could tell you where the good ones, and that's what led us here."
"So I was family blind is what they are saying." I shot a playful glare at my four best friends. "I would love to take this time to ask. Kat, Eliza, Felicity, Caitlin, Alice, Kate, and Tanya. Would you be my bridesmaids?" All of them then leapt into accepting and thanking me. Hurt showed in my mom's eyes as she put on a fake smile. "Mom, will you be my maid of honor?" Her face lit up and her smile became real.
"Of course!" She got hugged by dad and the entire night was filled with bliss.
