Episode 5: Summer lovin'

We are all in studio A stretching for another day of rehearsals and to find out who will be the new studio head.
We see Michelle and Emily in miss Kate's office, after them letting Richelle dance on an injury I really don't know if miss Kate will let them back, despite everything they've done for the team.
We sent Ozzy on a recon mission to find out what they're talking about but we're really not sure.
Guys guy guys, come in. Ozzy says to the team.
Did you hear anything? Noah asks.
So I heard sorry, I heard new direction and I heard dance detention.
Leave it to Ozzy to hear something like that.
Do you mean dance convention? I ask slightly confused. It was definitely dance detention.

We're are still standing around just waiting for the announcement when Emily and Michelle walk out.
We're back!
We all start to applaud and cheer. This is amazing. This means big things for the next step, they may have their differences but they work really well together.

This is our first rehearsal with Michelle and Emily since miss Angela has left and I have a feeling this yea is going to be my year to shine. I have worked really hard and I really hope they know that. I'm stressing a little about line placements, I know I'm not back row but I would be happy with any place in the middle. Of course I'm aiming for that front row spot but I don't really mind if I'm perfectly honest.
Hey Piper.
We all turn around and see Piper walk in. It's so great to have her finally back on the team. We all run up and hug her. She instantly lights up and starts smiling.
Welcome back Piper. We're going to move on to our line placements which will ultimately be your dance for regionals.
Though some of you may not be happy with your line placements, you need to live with it.
Alright let's get started.
We all move to the side and get ready to be placed.
Alright getting started with our back row line. On the left we have Piper. Next to Piper, Finn. Then beside Finn is Ozzy and then Kingston.
I'm appalled, my boyfriend and best friend got placed in the back row. I don't get it. I would of least expected middle row.
Alright our middle row from left to right we have Amy, Kenzie, Richelle and then Jacquie. Oh dear. Noah and I look at each other, not really knowing what to say because we know for a fact they won't take this lightly. They all slowly walk to there spots. Our front row, over here we'll have Henry. He dabs up Noah and I as he walks to his spot with the biggest grin on his face.
On the other side will be Noah.
Then on the left we'll have Harper then Summer.
I actually got front row! I am so happy, but this means I have to keep on working this hard to keep my spot.
I mean I would understand why some people are surprised Summer got front row as she just started but I gotta hand it to her she is a great dancer.
I just know this isn't going to end well.

Noah and I were just sitting in the locker rooms getting our stuff when Jacquie, Richelle and Amy walk in.
I don't understand why summer is the front row dancer. I mean we've all been front row dancers our entire lives.. I mean Harper I completely get but Summer!? Richelle says.
I take it as a compliment I guess as she doesn't really know I'm here because she isn't really paying any attention to Noah and I.
We look at each other not really knowing what to say. I mean Michelle and Emily are doing what's best for the team and I'm not sure if they're seeing that.
Michelle and Emily are totally favouring her.
Noah then steps in and says something, I would love to but I don't exactly want to be caught up in their drama over line placements.
Guys summer is actually a really good dancer. He says.
She's not a better dancer then any of us. I know Jacquie can get quite intense but I feel like she is taking this line placement thing a little to far.
Noah kind of just stands there and looks defeated and doesn't really know what to say. They're about to continue the conversation when summer walks in.
Hey guys.
Summer.. they all turn around to their lockers. I roll my eyes at how pathetic they were being.
Does anyone wanna hang out or something?

They all say as they slam their lockers shut and walk out. I feel bad for summer, I know how these girls can get over line placements and I really don't think it's necessary. She looks back at us and we just give her an apologetic look.
