Sunnyside Diner

Y/n pov

I flutter my eyes open and see I'm in my room. Until, I turn the other way.

"OH SHIT"

I sigh in relief when I see it's just Moon.

"Right. I have a robot roommate. Is he charging or sleeping?"

My question was immediately answered when he pulls me closer.

"Why am I always the first one to wake up..."

I try to get out of his grasp. I don't know why I thought I had a chance.

"He must be a REALLY heavy sleeper."

I lightly tap his arm to wake him up.

"Moon?"

He groans and somehow wraps his tail around me. He's one of THOSE sleepers. I tap his arm again, but a little harder.

"Moon?"

'Groan'

He flutters his eyes open and immediately smiles when seeing me.

"Good morning Starlight~"

"Good morning Moon~"

I sit up and stretch my arms as I yawn.

'Knock knock'

"Who the fuck is knocking this early in the morning?!"

"Shhh"

I open the door and...

"Excuse me ma'am. Do you have a moment to talk about out lord and sav-"

"NO THANK YOU"

"So, what do you want for breakfast?"

"Whatever you're having."

"F/b it is."

Time skip

"Starlight, you're eating pretty quickly..."

"I know. I gotta get to my job."

He freezes up and cocks his head.

"Job?"

"I work as a waitress at a diner not too far from here."

"So, you're leaving..."

"It's fine. I only work from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. And my shift is only on Mondays and Tuesdays."

"It's 8:40 am..."

"Shit!"

I quickly take the last bite, then rush to my room to put on my uniform.

Moon pov

It's my first day here and we can't hang out... Bullshit! I should be with my Starlight! I wish I was human... Then I could go wherever she goes...

I look at the chair beside me and see the hoodie. I look at another chair and see a pair of oversized pants.

"So, which diner do you work at?"

"Sunnyside Diner."

"Ok~"

I put on my shoes and grab my keys. I turn around and hug Moon before dashing out the room.
