Mom Knows

Y/n pov

'Knock knock'

I let out a small squeak in surprise and fear when I hear the knocking.

"Maybe if we don't answer, or show any sign of life in here, she'll leave..."

"Y/n ?! Explain yourself!"

"Are you sure about that..."

"I know you're in there! What the fuck was that thing?!"

"Offensive..."

I take a deep and shaky breath and bring my trembling hand to the doorknob. I slowly open the door a crack.

"Hi mom..."

"What's going on Y/n?!"

"I'm guessing you wanna meet the real Mark..."

"YES"

"Ok..."

I fully open the door, revealing the real Moon.

"This is Moon..."

Her eyes get wide as she stares at him. I quickly cover her mouth before she could scream.

"Now, calm down! I can explain! I have done it before!"

Still staring at him I'm shock, she slowly nods her head.

Time skip

"Breath mom... Breath..."

I hold her hand and rub her back as she hyperventilates, trying to process everything.

"Ummm... Are you ok Miss...?"

"Y/n... What's happening... W-why is a robot living with you..."

"I already told you. It was to protect him."

"What is going on with my life..."

"Your daughter is living with a robot she snuck out from a mall..."

"If you were still living with me, you would be SO grounded... Even if you're 19..."

"Are you gonna... Tell anyone...?"

She pauses for a moment, then sighs and shakes her head, finally looking at him.

"Well, you guys seem to really care for each other... And, you don't seem dangerous... So, I'll be quiet..."

We both let out a sigh of relief when hearing those magical words.

"But, if you hurt her in any way, I will tell the folks at the Pizza Plex."

"Yes ma'am. Thank you for understanding!"

"I'm leaving now. I need some rest..."

She gets up and walks to the door.

"Goodnight. And, thank you."

"Goodnight Y/n. And... Moon..."

He smiles and waves at her as she leaves the apartment.

"Phew! I am SO glad that's over!"

"That went better then I thought~"

"I'm still recovering..."

He chuckles and grabs my hand, walking me to the bedroom.

"It's bedtime now. We need it with how this day was~"

"It doesn't seem like you need it..."

"Well, I don't need sleep at all. And yet I still do it sometimes."

We get in bed and he wraps his arms around my waist, resting his chin on my head.

"Do you think she likes me?"

"Well, I remember when we went to the Pizza Plex for S/n's birthday, she said she liked both you and Sun."

"She really said that?"

"Yeah~ Do you remember her?"

"Well, I barely saw her, but yes."

He puts his hand on my back and pulls me closer.

"What's it like having a mom?"

"Oh. It's nice~ She's kind, fun, smart. Sure, she's very quick to judge, but that's just because she's trying to protect me~"

"Sounds cool~"

"It is~ Do you have some sort of parental figure?"

"Well, I remember I really liked my creator~ But, I don't know what happened to them. I just assumed they quit."

"Hm. Was it before, or after the incident?"

"I don't know. I barely remember anything about them."

"Well, I'm sure you guys were good friends~"

He smiles and closes his eyes.

"Yeah~ That's one thing I remember~"

"Well, goodnight~"

"Goodnight~"

Moon starts his charging process and I fall asleep, unaware of the car pulling up in the parking lot.
