"Come with me."

"What?"

"I mean... if you want... y-you can come with me since you don't have a place to stay."

"U-umm." I did not see that coming. I was shocked by his offer.

I thought I won't be seeing him again after our not-so-little encounter but here we were. Since I woke up and saw him standing right in front of me, I've been racking my brains for the right words. When he offered to help, I felt sudden relief wash over me. I used that runaway excuse because I figured he'd be too busy finding it relatable to have any kind of suspicions, but never in my wildest dreams did I imagine that he would end up inviting me to his home. Wait, didn't he live in a dorm at this point in time?

"NO! I don't mean it like... I just... I'm not a pervert or something. I just wanted to help out. Only if you want... Ugh! Nevermind. Forget that I said anything." He rapped out.

"Wait. No. It's okay. I didn't take it the wrong way. I was just.. thinking."
He let out a sigh of relief.

Should I take him up on his offer? I was weak, injured, starving, basically- pathetic. Initially, I thought this was just a dream but not anymore. I slept here thinking that when I woke up, I'd be back home but it clearly wasn't the case. So the 'Dream' theory was down the drain.
Right now, survival was the most important thing, and he was my safest option.

"Okay. Thank you so much. I promise I won't stay for long, just until I figure something out." I stated the truth for the first time since I met him.

"Yeah. Alright. Uhh--"

What was that? He went silent! What was wrong now? Why this awkward silence all of a sudden?

"Excuse me for asking but you are not from Seoul? Right? Your accent is slightly--" I initiated the conversation knowing where it will go. It felt like I was taking advantage of him. Well I was.

"Huh? Yes. I'm from Daegu, have been living in Seoul for almost two years now."

"Still a high schooler?"

"No. I-- I am a trainee. Heard of BigHit Entertainment?"

"Oh, are you a singer then?" I cringed at my question, pretending as if I didn't already know his whole life story.

"Rapper. I also write songs and produce music." He replied with a slight glimmer in his eyes which was previously absent.

"You must be happy following your dreams."

"I am." His lips curved to form a soft smile. My lips automatically mimicked his action.

"What about you? You have a weird accent. Are you really Korean?" He caught me off guard. Was my accent really that bad?
