"Don't act as if you don't have eyes." I inhaled sharply at her irritating reply. She was shifting back all the plants which she so painstakingly displayed outside in the morning.
"Well, only if you start acting as a normal human being!" I threw the extra umbrella inside the shop and snatched the pot from her slender hands. Bringing her already drenched body under the protection of my umbrella. "Any normal person would be taking shelter right now."
"The roots will die due to overwatering. They can't get soaked."
"And you can? YOU will also get sick. The rain is fucking freezing."
"I don't get sick. So problem solved right?" She said indifferently and ducked below my arm and grabbed another pot.
"Do you really think that you're not a human just because I keep saying so? And you know, even if the plants die, it won't be that big of a loss." I tried to keep up with her fast pacing to keep her under the shade, getting rained on in the process.
