Jin comes back home to New York weekly like he said, it's been almost a month and everything seems good to go with the trials. It happened so fast since they work with the best detective in Washington. But, since the case happened a long time ago, it's impossible to finish the trials only for a month, they need more proof.
At first, this week he didn't want to go back to New York but he remembered Jisoo is getting big so he had to check up on her. But, his mind still in that case makes his mood not good at all. Jisoo makes a reservation in Hell's Kitchen 5th avenue for their dinner date on Friday night. It's been months since they have had a dinner date so she wants to have one before she gives birth in another week.
Now, Jin and Jisoo are having a dinner in Hell's Kitchen but Jisoo expected to have a luxury dishes experience with a great talk with Jin and apparently it can't since Jin only stared at his phone the whole waiting time until the food was served. Jisoo is a little bit annoyed but she's afraid that what he does on his phone is a work thing.
"Jin? Is everything fine at work? You seem too focused on that phone, like you're about to laser it with your eyes." Jisoo jokingly said.
"Ah yes, everything's fine at work. But, it's not about that. It seems like we lack witnesses and the suspect's testimony this week made the jury contemplate if it's them who planned all the plane crashes." He said.
"What are you guys going to do?" She asked again. Jin groaned and messed up his hair with his fingers, he seemed frustrated. "I don't know, " Jennie suggested, approaching the airline and that plane company for further research, but it's too much. I mean we don't know if that plane company could cooperate because it could ruin their reputation too. So. . . we are still thinking." Jin replied.
"Oh, okay. How is it--", "Jisoo! Can you please not ask every time?! I'm on the phone here!" Jisoo startled because she only about to ask couple of questions and suddenly Jin was yelling at her. She confused that why he has to be angry like that and why he should bring his important thing in the middle of their dinner date.
"Jin, what happened? Why are you angry with me?" Jin sighed. "I'm stressed, Jisoo. And you bring an idea of this dinner not coming at the right time. I think I need to go back to Washington immediately, maybe on Saturday night." Jisoo widens her eyes, okay she doesn't want to be a clingy girlfriend but she doesn't like his tone at all or abruptly changes plans.
"Jin, you just got here, I bet it doesn't make any difference if you are there sooner. You got to work on Monday too, what are you going to do on weekends anyway? There's no trial." Jisoo tries to convince him to stay but for him to lay down a bit, take rest maybe.
"No, Jennie and Jungkook are there, they never left and I feel bad if I spend time here having fun when they're brainstorming in the hotel." What Jin said made Jisoo feel offended. "Having fun? You have me who is pregnant."
Jin looked at her for a moment, still looking for an excuse. "I know, but they also have Taehyung, Archie, and Lisa. But, they feel this is more important at the moment."
