Jungkook went home late since he abandoned his work for a month. His boss is thoughtful enough to understand what he's been through, luckily there's no delay because he's willingly to give his project to Jimin, even though he has to lose his work performance.
It's eight o'clock and he enters his place with Chinese food in his hand. He just guessed Lisa already had dinner and maybe she is resting now, so he decided to buy something to go. When he enters his apartment, it's dark but there's a yellow light coming from the kitchen. He doesn't smell anything burning so he is just glad it's not on fire.
'Maybe Lisa bought a new night lamp?' He thought
He walked inside to the yellow light, he got curious about it. But, when he turned to his side to the light, he was speechless. It's a candle light dinner. There's a delicious meal in a luxurious plating, and red wine on a stainless steel bucket. In the middle of the table it has a vase of red roses.
"Baby?" He called Lisa. He heard fast footsteps coming from their bedroom. "Hi! I got a surprise for you." Lisa smiles widely. "Oh? This is clearly so romantic. What's the occasion?"
"uhm, we're never had a romantic dinner as a married couple. Don't you realize?" She smirked. Jungkook's eyes got bigger. To think of it, yes, they never had a dinner date or even a date. They become real again and in seconds everything falls apart with all the truths coming out, so they never had a real thing as two people love each other again.
"Okay! let's sit!" Lisa is about to drag him by taking his wrist when she catches a plastic bag on his hand. Jungkook noticed her gaze on his hand. "I thought you're resting right now, so I brought chinese for myself." Jungkook explained. Lisa chuckled and took the plastic bag.
"That's fine, if you are still hungry maybe after this you can eat again." She put it on the countertop.
She poured a glass of red wine, and an orange juice for her since she's pregnant. Apparently, Lisa used her dad's friend to cook all of this. There's salmon en croute, frisee salad with goat cheese and pine nuts, wild rice, and roaster asparagus.
When Lisa is sitting on her chair across from him, Jungkook raises his glass to the center. "I would like to say something." Jungkook said. Lisa smiles and raises her juice too.
"I know we got married in the most odd ways anyone can have, but I love how it entangles us to this day, and brings us a greatest gift. I love you so much, Lalisa. Maybe we're loving the idea of getting married next year like we planned five years ago, but I'd rather be this fast rather than wait that long, because I never plan nor prepare for loving you, it's just like this marriage and it's beautiful." Jungkook ended his speech.
Lisa suddenly gets tears in her eyes right a second when he makes a speech. "Baby, why are you crying this much?" Jungkook asked worriedly. Lisa chuckled while wiping her tears on her eyes.
"I don't know, I think it's my hormones. . . or the baby is really touched by your speech." She's sniffling between her words.
Jungkook smiled and suddenly stood up to walk close to her side. Lisa is confused and taken aback when Jungkook gets on his knees in front of her. Jungkook fixed her chair to rotate to her side to be in front of him. Suddenly, he rubbed her belly which was still flat.
