intermission

this is a filler chapter, think like the intermission panels at shows, where aster wilkes will be given a better introduction.

i probably should've gotten around to it earlier, but tbh i just couldn't put my mind to work.

about her: originally from a different reality, has quantum jumped to the one she currently resides in. any trace of her original identity is obsolete, only her current one remains. in this reality, she has psychic powers (which she scripted for herself)

now residing in seattle, washington, she was originally born in berlin germany where she stayed until she was nine, when she moved together with her mom and sibling to london, uk, where she resided up until the summer she was 16.

that summer she had been accepted into a summer boarding program by seattle university, and so she travelled to america, where she stayed the whole summer. during the program she met some university students, amongst them was jasper apollo, who would end up being her reason to stay.

they had become really good friends, and one time as they were talking, jasper offered for aster to work part-time at the cafe he had recently inherited from his aunt. it would be fun and a great way for her to have extra income, so she could stay a bit more even after the program had ended.

aster had agreed, and soon they were working together at the small, quiet coffee shop. as the end of the program was approaching, aster had been worried since she had found nowhere to stay. that was when she was surprised by jasper once again: he had been preparing an apartment (also left to him by his aunt) for aster to stay in for free, and it was close to the cafe as well.

and thats how aster ended up staying in america, eventually deciding to also attend school there.
