The lake

We got to the lake and man it's beautiful. I took my shoes off and jumped in, after me Robin jumped in then Finney and Gwen. We first just splashed each other and then Gwen requested a game. "let's play Chicken!!" She said, we all agreed and got on each others shoulders. I got Robin's and Gwen got on Finney's, me and Gwen started pushing until she started giggling, I look down and see Robin tickling Gwen's feet.

After a few seconds she falls over from laughter. "Hey, you guys cheated!" Gwen said. "Nah I wouldn't call it cheating" Robin chuckled, after another hour of swimming we decided to go to the grab-n-go. When we arrived like any other day nun other than Pinball Vance Hopper was there. He doesn't really scare me, he never did me and him used to be close friends until he would put people in hospitals to "protect me".
We got slushes and chips, I got Y/F slushie and Y/F chips and was about to leave until someone messed with Vance's pinball score... again. "You fucked up my game!" Vance said in anger.

Before I knew it there was a fight, one dude pulled out a switchblade and tried to stab him with it but failed. Vance took it and beat him up, after both of them were knocked out he carved something in one dudes arm.

20 minutes later the police came and took Vance, I really wish he didn't do these type of things it would really keep him out of trouble. "Haven't changed a little Vance" I said , I didn't want to sound like a bitch but that's how I felt. "Neither have you huh?" Said Vance before he was put in the police car.What does he mean I haven't changed? I've changed more than he has.
