When The Grabber finally came downstairs my grip tightened around Robin's hand. The door opened and I gulped as he walked in carrying an axe. You see that wasn't the only problem, he also did in fact bring down the dog. It began barking like there was no tomorrow. Suddenly The Grabber spoke.
"Well don't you guys look frightened...where are the other little brats?." He said in a taunting tone. None of us spoke we just stood there. "I believe I asked you guys a question."He sounded impatient.
Out of no where Bruce tried attacking him but The Grabber just barely got a swing at him. That made the plan go in action. Everyone came out and started going at him in different directions. Finney started running where the hole was and The Grabber tried grabbing him but tripped over the wire like we hoped and fell in the hole.
After that we all began beating on him before finally I rapped the other wire around his neck, strangling him. I couldn't take him out though, Robin got behind me rapping around me putting his hands on the wire as well and started to tighten it, we both let out a loud yell before one last tug and suddenly there was a snap. We fell back laid there catching our breaths. Everyone was cheering but I was to exhausted but eventually Robin sat back up sure not to make me fall off of him.
"We did it cariño.." Robin said breathlessly hugging me against him leaving a small peck on the back of my jawline. Suddenly Billy muttered something.
"Guys...the dog." He pointed at the dog. We all turned around and froze for a moment. The dog was growling like it was ready to attack at any second.
"Vance....grab a piece of meat from the freezer..." I said quietly clearly scared. Vance grabbed a piece of meat and slowly approached the dog before throwing it in a corner. The second it walked toward the meat we all jetted out the basement running towards the front door to our freedom.
