"You ain't got no control on how you speak." He whispered it because you just roasted him because of his silence on the small party a few days ago where Taehyung had invited you both. You remember visiting, giving gift then escaping from there to the nearest cinema theatre.
You flipped the hair back and said," Language is a medium of sharing thoughts. I have rights to speak so I will. Someone has to say the truth. You cannot expect an oppressed feel bad for an oppressor."
"What's wrong in not wearing a tie? I look attractive when I flash my Jugular vein."
You said,"Looks aren't everything."
"But I have them, just in case," said Jungkook. "Ahh-" You jerked his wheelchair and he got frightened to fall on his face, again. He gripped the arms tight and yelled if you were mad. You only giggled at it.
He did told you to not push his chair, he could use that joystick but you insisted as would reduce your chances on talking with other guests in the wedding thrown for Kim Taehyung and Min Soya.
It was the day when you would be approached by your distant relatives. A crowd you were scared to face on your own. Fortunately, Yoongi would be here. He was only running late because of press conference.
People around you started applauding. You looked through and Taehyung was walked in. A few moment later Soya walked down the aisle with your so called father. She stood beside Taehyung who admired her a lot. They were looking stunning with that beautiful smile, looking content.
You softly whispered,"She does make for a pretty bride, doesn't she?"
"That she does," said Jungkook as looked at the couple taking their vows.
You glanced at him. He was staring at them with a lot of emotions. He was trying to move on and clear off the remnants.
He too would had a party like this but the outcome was unexpected. How could he not remember the chapters which got burnt and left the ashes behind?
"Honestly, how are you feeling?" Your eyes were stuck on him. He looked straight and said," I'm great. I love weddings."
How could he be quite? Didn't his intention was to destroy the wedding and get back his bride? You leaned down and said,"Why don't you tell her that you still love her?"
You were a bit out of patience. Jungkook leaned closer and said," There was enough to make me coming back to her, not quite enough to make her stay." He turned around, few inches away from your face and smiled.
His smile was distorted yet healed.
You nodded," Well, the poets aren't right after all. It's not all about love."
Jungkook was watching you and only you. His nails dung into the palm, clenching the fist to control his unstable emotions but he couldn't.
He hated how his feets wouldn't support him. He hated how he couldn't be the one and only for you. He hated how any other man was holding you like you already belonged to them. He wanted to be that man but the fate was not on his side.
The wedding ceremony was over. The reception party began.
Obviously you left Jungkook at the bar. There was no reason for you to stick to him if he didn't wanted to get the bride. There was no point of you staying by his side then. Though you couldn't ditch a ceremony where your distant relatives recognised you in an instant and surrounded you like a pack. You had to go through it and entertain them with the updates.
That's when a relief sigh escaped from your lips when a hand wrapped around your shoulder and Yoongi pulled you out of the trap.
He engaged them and you wnet back to the bar where least people occupied the seats. "What you looking at?" You followed Jungkook's gaze and saw him staring at Taehyung and Soya smiling at each other lovingly. For a moment you wanted to nudge his head and put some intelligence in it but you decided to shrug that off.
