Seokjin could not even take a sip of his drink. His hands shook while he grabbed the glass. He cursed for staying back when you asked him to at least have the dinner. It was a bad idea because the tension was hyper in the air.
He gulped when he glanced beside him, looking at Jungkook who was having a staring contest with Jimin, sitting across him. Both of the men were sharing challenging looks when you were out to attend a phone call
"A friend, huh?" Jungkook asked.
Jimin said," None of your business." Jungkook clenched his jaw.
Jimin- 1
Jungkook- 0He never saw a rude person like him. Even if he met one, his previous dominance would crumble him/her into particles. Jungkook didn't conceived any homie vibe from Jimin particular.
The clicks of high heels already altered the men about your incoming presence. They immediately wore innocent baby masks as if they weren't ready to announce a war. Seokjin in middle of it planned his escape plan. If he stayed a minute longer then a big argument might smack his ass.
Two maids brought the food as you sat next to Jimin. The butler served the food. Dinner was going unbothered before Jimin took out a box and slide it to you.
"What's this?" You held it. He said," Open it."
A peral necklace.
It was beautiful shade of white. The shine was outstanding and pretty smooth. He said," Imported from Japan. One piece in the world, only for you."
"Awe, thank you." You pulled him in a hug then kept it back in the box. Seokjin was still astonished, being a doctor had it's perks but never had he ever saved money to buy a jewellery for his date. Majority of his salary goes to charity of orphanage.
Meanwhile Jungkook was trying to keep it cool. He wasn't jealous of him. He was disappointed at how he could've arranged something better than it but it's been a long since he spent time with you. He wondered if you or your taste changed with time.
After the wonderful dinner Jimin bid his farewell with a kiss on your cheek. Seokjin followed him shortly and now it was a man at the level of your waist, glaring at you with sarcasm.
"What?" You frowned.
"Nothing." He dared to turn his back on you and pushed the joystick to move. You rolled your eyes but then looked back at his change in clothes. It was quite nice preference.
"Jungkook!" You called him but he didn't stopped. He was at his threshold when you said," You looked good looking." His ears erected attentively when you voiced out but when he reversed his wheelchair you were already gone upstairs. His curved lips dropped but the warmness of cheeks didn't faded until he laid on bed.
Coming in the bedroom you put the box in the closet and shut the door. Perhaps when Jimin would ask you out then you would wear it. Unfortunately, tonight was a friendship date.
Jimin was never clear about the status of the relationship. He wanted to enjoy what you two had. It was complicated when you built a heavy crush on him. Recently he was treating you relatively better than others. You hoped it wasn't a misunderstanding. Taking that positivity you drifted to slumber.
