Since that day there was a little awkward but in a good way communication shared between the two of you.
Not for a single second his mind got focused in the days he had to teach. Well, it was just some slides he had to show and blabber things.
It was an usual day in university after the dispersal as he was exiting it in hope of seeing you at home.
Just when he came out he looked up and saw Yoongi waiting for him by the giant entrance. He was leaning on his Jeep with crossed arms, eyes covered with shades which he removed and shot a glare.
As Jungkook moved closer he could sense a cyclone coming up. But he didn't feared.
Yoongi knocked on the window and the door gets opened. Jungkook's eyes widened when he saw black shoes coming out and a very familiar man stands beside the producer.
"Dad?"
Jungkook was confused on why his father showed up a week before. He became nervous for whatever was coming in. He clutched the armrest and moved forward.
"Hello there, son."
"What a surprise! I didn't expected you to show up so early." Jungkook glanced at your brother who was listening. He knew Yoongi respected Mr. Jeon as much as you did, maybe more. Your brother won't lift his hand on him when Jungkook's father was in the play.
"I had to come and pick you up son. How's things going on? How's.. Y/N?"
"Fine. It's too good to be true."
Mr. Jeon smiled on catching the glimpse Jungkook blushing with a slight tint. He knew his faith in you won't disappoint to show development in his son's condition. Jungkook looked more stable than before.
"Let's go to the nearest coffee shop. I have few things to discuss with you."
Jungkook nodded as you three walked down the street. Yoongi volunteered to push although Jungkook was afraid of him.
When they sat on a table in the corner Yoongi went away to order coffee while Mr. Jeon observed the curious doe eyes of his son. "What are we here for?" said Jungkook.
Mr. Jeon rubbed his hands and said," Listen, Jungkook. My friend helped me to establish a company. Since it's out from a scratch, it's more than enough for me to do hardwork but after considering my age and your.. health, I don't think we could stabilize the business after ten years. In further ten years, I might not be there for you... You know what I mean, right?"
"Dad, I don't like where it's going. Come to the point."
He sighed," The point is that he offered me some money which could help us live there and start from new."
"Leaving all of these behind?" Jungkook became pissed.
"One should end the past if it's toxic. I thought you'd be grateful to start a new life with new beginning."
"No! I don't wanna let go of my childhood, my friends... my home. I know you are suffering but I promised to take care of you even if you age old."
"That's the problem! Why can't you understand I'm doing this for you? Doctors have clearly recommended you to take rest as much as you could. As a parent I can't see you overworking. You are too young are for this. That's why I have decided."
"What?" Jungkook asked.
Mr Jeon took out a piece of paper and said," This is the form of getting a prosthetic leg. You'll be able to walk again."
Jungkook read it. The price was beyond a limit his father could afford.
"Dad, we both know that only one of my leg is injured and that is also below the knee. I can be okay." Jungkook whispered. "Besides how are we gonna collect that much money from? It's gonna take ten years of my job." Jungkook shook his head in disbelief.
