I ought to fly to the mountains and burn it down, said Darticus with anger, thumping the wooden desk in front of him and breaking it into half. Let us stay patient for now, king Darticus, said Philippe. Darticus was taken aback. This is the first time that he has called me a king, he thought to himself. He looked at Alguran and he immediately looked away. Do they plot against me? he wondered. I need sometime alone with myself, said Darticus and dismissed the two of them. I ride to the north, he decided and rode his horse to the north that night, undetected.
That night at the North...
What Brings you here at this hour? asked Angela as he entered her quarters. Trouble, my dear! he said. What trouble? asked Angela. The people I can trust are getting thin by the hour. Angela laughed to the ply of Darticus. " You are a king" You do not trust anyone, she said to him. Can i trust you? he asked her. Of course you can, she said to him and closer to him. Darticus hugged her and was about to plant a kiss on her lips when he saw her eyes. Her eyes spoke of a plan too, there was something in them, he concluded and grew a little distant from her. What has happened my dear? she asked him. It is nothing, said Darticus trying to turn her attention away. Something must be really wrong, she said to him and tried to come closer. He brushed her away and sat down. Let me get you something to drink, she said to him and walked away. When she returned, he was no where to be seen. What has happened to him? she wondered. He drank the water herself and kept the glass aside. Darticus rode beyond the north and ventured into the forests.
" Here no one shall trouble me" he uttered and rode inwards. The trees uttered words that spoke of evil and terror. Darticus was all alone in the darkness and for the first time in his life he was scared. I shall stay here for the rest of my life, he decided and tried to find a spot under a large tree. And every time he went and sat under one, the trees threw him away. You are not welcome here , they said to him. Darticus had ditched his horse and was now on foot, under the bright moon light as he searched for a new home. Finally a voice spoke" Come here" it said. Darticus looked around to see who it was. Show yourself , he commanded. Come here! the voice said this time in a louder tone. Who are you?! show yourself, he said again. Come here! this time the voice shouted and the gravity of the voice dragged Darticus towards it. He flew until his neck was caught by a hand. A hand of a man much smaller than him, yet he knew the man was much more powerful than he was. "Who are you" asked Darticus as his voice choked. It does not matter who I'am, said Seronn. All that matters is what I bring? he said to the king. What do you bring? asked Darticus trying to loosed himself from the grasp of the hands. I bring Death! said Seronn as he threw Darticus to the ground. Now pick up your sword! let us see if you are worthy! he said to him. Darticus picked his sword up that was thrown on the ground. He reached for it and took it in his hands and stood up. Seronn took his gun and threw it away. He had a sword, a black one that did not shine nor gleam. It took the light in and never returned it. The blades were sharp and long. It did not begin anywhere and certainly did not end anywhere. Come at me King! he said to Darticus. Darticus flew at him with his sword shining under the bright moon light!
