Archimedes unaware of what had transpired in the mountains, found himself behind bars. The palace held him and he was not given any special privilege. He found no visitors nor guards that had visited him in the past two days. He sat there that night as he waited patiently waited for his meal to arrive. "There was someone who stood there in front of the gates with his food". Archimedes thought it was one of the people who work in the kingdom as they had done previously. "So there he went and took the hot plate of food from the hands of the person holding it" As he went closer he realized that it was not an ordinary person that stood there before him, but the wife of king Maximus himself. "Thank you" he said to her very surprised to see her there. "Me husband is dead" she said to him. She handed over the plate to him "Do you know why I have no tears on my face?" she asked him. Archimedes had no answer." I'm sorry that your husband is no more" he said to her. There was nothing he could say to her, he barely knew her! I do not weep because I have hope for the kingdom, she said and walked away. Archimedes did not understand anything that happened at all. He took the plate and as he ate his meal, he pondered over what had just happened. He knew that there would be no explanation that he could conjure up, no matter how much he tried. Yet , he grew restless.
"Thank you"
Said Hana to Reya. Without your help we would have suffered a different fate! It is an honor for me to help you, she replied. Zeno was seated there and he did not peak a word and nor did anyone speak to him. They were all afraid him , except Reya. "Our race would continue" we have endured a lot, said Hera. Myrdin thronged the chambers were they were seated. No one had endured as much as us, and yet we continue to face the most peril and danger, he said to them. He looked at Zeno and Zeno did not even look up. Where is my sister? he asked Hana. Now that the war is over, you have chosen to forsake her? he questioned her. Hana looked up at Myrdin. My husband is in prison and my father is dead, and you tell me that you have endured more than i have? she asked Myrdin. Myrdin became silent. " My sister Wily" she is all alone and lost, and hidden somewhere, Myrdin stammered with his words breaking down. "Do you know where your sister is?" asked Reya. I think she is wherever those people came from, he said to Reya. He looked at everyone and pleaded, all I Know is that came from the beyond. That is where she is hidden. I will search for her, said Reya. Before Myrdin could thank her. Zeno got up from is silence "No, I will search for her" he said to Myrdin. All alone? Reya questioned him. I'm not alone, not anymore he replied to her as his fangs began to show. " I will come with you" said Myrdin. Okay, replied Zeno as his fangs became normal again. "We leave now" said Zeno to Mordin. Now? he looked at him." Isn't it too dark?" he asked him. Not for me, replied Zeno. The two men left the chambers into the wild and headed for beyond the north.
The beast and man walked into the wilderness and when the moon shone again above their heads, Zeno turned into the beast again. He howled and it even scared the forests. Myrdin walked a few feet behind the beast. Klick and the others watched them go into the wilderness. Klick took his axe out and said his men to follow him. "Zeno and Myrdin walked in front" while Klick and a few of his men followed them going unnoticed. One of the men made a noise and the beast looked back at what it was. It growled as Myrdin fell on the ground. Fool! said Klick to the soldier. Stay here! he commanded while the rest of them walked ahead. The beast Zeno told Myrdin to walk west and cover the area, while he would himself cover the east and they would converge. The forest is so large and dense complained Myrdin. The beast Zeno did not respond but simply went in his direction. Myrdin stood there for a while and ultimately decided to follow the instructions. Myrdin took his axe out and went west. The men of Klick saw the two of them split. " Half the men go go where the man went" he said to his men. " The rest of us will follow the beast, he said and traveled eastwards. They went through the dense forests cutting the branches with the blades, elsewhere Myrdin chopped the the trees with his axe. " Wily! Wily!" he started to shout as the night grew deeper and darker. "General, we cannot see an inch ahead" they complained to Klick. " Take your lights out" he ordered to the men. But stay in a distance form the beast, he warned. Westwards , Myrdin was blinded. He swung his axe blindly at whatever lay ahead. " Light them" the men of Klick lit their torches closely following Myrdin. Myrdin became aware of the light that shone from behind. Who is it? he asked many times. There was no answer. Show yourself! he said to them as he raised his axe to thwart them. The light faded away but Myrdin stood his ground. There was a tap on the shoulder to the right of Myrdin. He looked back and almost swung his axe. He grunted and almost took the shoulders away of the person. Brother! it is me, said the voice. It is my Wily! she said.
