The group of Buskar, Borkir and Ilkir walked out the caves into the snow. Borkir went in first and he headed towards a small snow cap mountain. Beyond there is the animal, he said and treaded his path. His axe helped him as a climbing tool and the others followed suit. There was a bear at the corner of his eyes and Borkir pointed his axe at that direction. He hid himself beyond a rock and the other two behind another rock. He made some suggestions with his hand to imply that they have to move undetected. The other two nodded in agreement. Then he made some more signs telling that this time Ilkir just needs to watch the hunt and not participate in it. Ilkir agreed instantaneously. Good! said Borkir. He walked ahead slowly undetected and raised his hand to tell them to follow him. The company of three crouched forward in the direction of the bear....
Wily in the mountains....
Wily, Myrdin and axel went into the deepest corners of the mountains. In the thickest of the forests where the snow covered everything except the peak of the tall trees. Their feet were getting submerged in the snow and they could barely move. Myrdin was getting annoyed with the speed that they were moving in. Not the greatest of places to hunt! he sighed. Axel and Wily smiled as their brother had been complaining about this place ever since they had arrived here. "And no Polar's either" he said. Maybe they are there, said Axel. Maybe they are invisible and we cannot see them, joked Axel. Myrdin was annoyed and threw a large bucket of snow at Axel. Axel was about to throw a large bucket himself, just then. There! said Wily. It was a polar, after all. Quick, hide yourselves, she said. The three of them ran and hid themselves behind a large rock. Did it see us? asked Axel. I do not think so, replied Wily. Wily took her gun out. Axel also took his out. Myrdin took his bow out. "What is the fun with guns" he said. Axel and Wily were surprised that their brother was right once and for all. They kept their guns and took their bows out. They moved closer to the polar inch by inch. As the polar was busy doing something, it did not detect the Marakese heading towards its direction.
"Borkir was very close to the bear now" his eyes were sharp and spoke of intent. Buskar was two steps behind Buskar and Ilkir a few feet away from them, hid behind a giant rock. Borkir yelled and ran towards the bear. The bear opened its claws and threw the dwarf away! Buskar now ran and tried to stab the giant bear. He too was given the same treatment. Borkir had a spare knife on him and threw it at the bear. The bear was spiked by the sword and growled in pain. Buskar went and poked his sword into the thick skin of the bear. It felt immense pain, but still had the strength to throw the dwarf away. Borkir ran towards the bear and poked his sword into the bear. It was almost dead, and yet it had the strength to throw him away again. Buskar took his knife that he carried with him. He threw the knife at the bear, it caught the bear in its heart and killed it. Buskar and Borkir went and picked their knives up. Ilkir came out of his hiding. Lesson number 1 : Always pick up your knife from the kill. Yes, said Ilkir. Lesson 2: said Buskar , Always chop the animal into many parts so that it can be carried away easily. Ilkir nodded.
"Wily and Axel were in range to kill the animal. They aimed their bows at the polar and launched an arrow at it" Myrdin held back his bow. The arrows steered into the flesh of the Polar, immediately putting it down. That was easy, said Wily. Yes, much easier than I had expected, said Axel. What do we do now? asked Myrdin. Do we take the kill back to the mountains? he Wily. No, he replied. That would not be the wisest thing to do, and we do not know if the people there see this as something as sacred, said Myrdin. Our people, said Wily and I do not suppose they see this as something sacred. Yet we cannot take a chance, said Axel. Yes, they all agreed and walked back to the Marakese mountains.
"Buskar, Borkir and Ilkir chopped the bear in to three piece". Make sure none of the flesh is wasted, warned Borkir. Yes, said Ilkir carfelly cutting open the bear. It is hard to come by, said Bokrir. What? asked Ilkir. A large kill, replied Borkir. The three of them chopped the bear up and carried their pieces back to the caves as the sun set majestically upon the white surface.
