Ah yes, on the corner of the busy streets of Tokyo is a small café. The café is dressed in yellow and white tiles and light baby blue walls. It's known for its famous fluffy pancakes and tea, always filled with peaceful customers. In such a café you would expect their waiters and waitresses to have the same mood right?

Well, not for Mikaela Shindo, the new waiter. He groaned as his azure eyes looked down at a certain green-eyed customer. The raven hair stranger had been sitting at the booth alone for around 30 minutes, he kept on looking down at his phone with nervous glances as well. When Mikaela would come up to check on him, he would wave him off and ask him if he could stay a little bit longer and would thank the blonde gradually.

It's easy to tell that the stranger had been....

"Stood up!" Lacus boldly said as the blonde's shoulders rose from surprise. Mikaela turned around and sent the purple-haired boy a soft glare." Well, hopefully, their partner shows up soon." Mikaela mumbled as Lacus smirked and hungover Mikaela's shoulder annoying the blonde." Maybe, you could replace his partner's place! Besides, I've seen how much you've checked on him more than other customers!" Lacus teased.

Mikaela rolled his eyes, as the stranger fiddled with his hands anxiously.

The blonde sighed, it's just a sad sight just seeing him. Sitting at a large booth waiting for someone, he's had his fair share of being stood up and being left with the feeling of major disappointment. The stranger's eyes looked so kind and sad.

It's clear to see that his partner doesn't deserve the time anyways, Mikaela would've gotten up and left already if he was in the strangers' shoes.

The raven groaned sadly, as his fingers began typing at a fast pace on his phone. He then looked around the café, disappointed he then looked back onto his face with a bored face." Anyways, I'm going to go get more tea for the couple at table six. Go get your man." Lacus teased as he nudged the blonde's shoulder.

Mikaela ignored his friend as he left the kitchen, his blue eyes peaked out once again at the sad stranger. His head rested on the palm of his hand as he stared down at his phone, the blonde should go check on him again.

Mikaela got up from his nesting area as he walked towards the raven. Passing the tables, he got to the raven. The stranger instantly looked up at the blonde from his phone with an awkward smile." I'm really sorry, can I wait for another uh five minutes..." The green-eyed stranger said as his smile got wider.

Mikaela couldn't help but to notice the way the stranger anxiously fiddled with his fingers, he also couldn't help the blush that rose on his face as he saw the attractive stranger. A nervous smile rose on his face as well." No that's fine, I was just seeing if you wanted to order anything.." Mikaela said as he held a notepad.

The stranger shook his head." No no, it's fine, I'm really sorry about making you wait." The raven apologized." I don't know if my date is going to show up soon, but I'll totally get out of your hair if something happens!" The raven added on as he smiled gently.

Oh, so it is like that...

"There's no rush so take your time." Mikaela said he felt the sneering eyes of his coworkers as the stranger showed Mikaela a smile as big as the sun." Thank you, don't worry it won't take up much of your time!" He ensured.

"Don't worry about it! I'll be back later." Mikaela said as he put the notepad back into his pocket. He walked back into the kitchen with a new idea in mind.

-------

"So.... what have you been doing for the past ten minutes..." Lacus peaked over Mikaela's shoulder with curious eyes. The blonde smiled as he pulled the tray of brownies out of the oven. The smell of delicious brownies filled the room, as Mikaela grabbed white frosting by the stove.

"Are you going to make extras? C'mon you gotta share." Lacus nagged at Mikaela and placed the brownies on top of the stove." You can't give them all to your new boy toy!" Lacus groaned as Mikaela began frosting the brownies with small flowers on top, he looked back at his friend." I can assure you that there will be extras." Mikaela sassed as he went back to his work.

"With frosting?" Lacus asked with a desperate look in his eyes." Maybe if you take care of the register it will." Mikaela said as his friend ran out of the kitchen quickly. The blonde smiled as he began to finish his work, he cut out two brownies and began to frost small white flowers on top of it.

Once he was proud of his work he finished and put it into a to-go box with a pink ribbon on the outside.

He looked out onto the café once again, only this time the stranger was not in sight. His gaze darted towards the door to see the stranger leaving.

He immediately got to his feet and ran out of the kitchen almost tripping on the way. The stranger sadly sighed as he opened the door.

"Ah wait!" Mikaela yelped as the raven turned around to see Mikaela. The blonde held the box and smiled nervously at him.

"I- we just wanted to give you this to make up for what happened. Hope you're not allergic to chocolate." Mikaela rambled as he gave it to the stranger, in an instant the raven's face lit up with happiness." Are you serious?" The raven gasped as he stared at the box in awe.

He opened it, greeted by the fresh smell of chocolate goods. His green eyes lit up as he smiled at Mikaela.

"I can't thank you enough! Are you really sure I can have this?" The stranger smiled as Mikaela just nodded shyly.

"Yes, you can," Mikaela said as the stranger suddenly hugged the blonde around the shoulders.

"I'll definitely come back, my name is Yuichirou, you better be ready to have me as a regular!" Yuichirou announced as the blonde stared at Yuichirou with a red face. He didn't notice Yuichirou leaving, being too distracted by what had happened.

"Didja hear that Rene? I think Mika has a new regular!"

"Ugh, Lacus!" Mikaela sighed as Lacus just giggled." Oh, I should tell you, I left a surprise in that box for him too." Lacus suddenly said as Mikaela raised an eyebrow.

"Whatever, just as long as it's nothing big."

-------

Even though Yuuichirou had just stood up, nothing could bring the smile off of his face. The cute waiter that had been checking up on him gave him sweets! Sweets!

Maybe the phrase, to get a man's attention through his stomach is true!

Yuuichirou turned his phone ignoring his dates' text messages, the to-go box on his kitchen counter. He glanced at it with a soft gaze, as he noticed a small note inside. He picked it up from the box and read it.

"Sorry about the wait today :(

If you want a new date here's my number xxx-xxx-xxx"
