Bow this new animated Monster High series way better than the live action movie but what is the difference between the original and the new incarnation?

She now wear glasses like Clawdia although Crescent is a dog instead of a cat who in Image B where she the most fashionable in school.

now in the original line there were technically Two Witches starting with Jane Boolittle who in Image D seem to be a "Witch" doctor.
