Well from what I've heard so far other than the fact that it's going to be an origin story there are those that think that it's going to start a new dog city with a reason of DK and cranky being in it as well which is why there are those I think that Mario Luigi we're going after him when he got loose somehow and it's better not say something like accidentally leaving the door open to his cage.
As for the reason of Bowser's campaign of finding or collecting the power Stars well to invade the Mushroom Kingdom just to of course kidnap Princess Peach but this is only me for now but what if he has the flower and the star and needs the mushroom and have Peach open a gate with those items to open it so that he can get his hands on the tri- I mean whaaaaa?
