who would've known?
me, a wandering soul,
you, a closed book,
would be stealing glances
across a luminous hall?who would've imagined?
the same soul who
gets overwhelmed easily
tumbles down with tranquility
would find her way to your oceanic orbs
just like how your crystallised palm
enclasped mine?when they met, something sparked
and though their owners were oblivious
a seedling was planted, securely rooted.
It began to bloom, fiercely and passionatelyuntil three words fabricated within me
threatening to burst out every time
they felt at home in your arms-
they fluttered with gaiety
they painted beautiful tableaux
dwindling and dancing in my dreams...to trifle with these twinkling thoughts
would be to venture down a reckless road
to meddle with my rocking mind
would inevitably lead to shipwrecksbut can't we step into it anyway?
a buoyant stride
dappled with affection, mystique, blithe
into our own version of
a blazing teenage romance.
