RULE NO1 || Jung Hoseok

A few days later, Hoseok takes Y/N with him on a prison visit to see her new defendant. not being comfortable with the environment, feeling very frightened as they walk in, takes a deep breath. The guards nod politely at Hoseok and Y/N due to Hoseok's status. As Y/n doesn't know what to expect of her newest defendant, still frightened by the fear installed by Hoseok's detailing on the importance of the case, she doubts her craft. Hoseok stops Y/N, and they already see Hitman Bang's youngest, Hanshik, who could be facing a large sentence for being caught in possession of class A substances.

Hoseok sits down first, then signals for Y/N to take a seat. Y/N adjusting her skirt to feel comfortable takes a seat. Hanshik "Ahh, she must be the lawyer Appa told me about, Y/n Kassidy Lennox," he says with an intimidating demeanour. Y/N gulps, looking back at Hoseok. "Hanshik, she's not here to feel intimidated by you, so cut the bullshit and speak with her with respect, as she is your key to getting you out of here. Don't be a disrespectful teen." He immediately puts the cocky boy in place.

"My apologies, thank you for coming around, Mrs. Lennox." He pretends to correct his attitude, making Y/N feel more at ease. Y/N smiles. "Good afternoon, Mr. Bang. As a lawyer, I will need a further explanation of your case and how you ended up behind cells with every detail you can remember," she says sternly.

"Okay, lawyer, as you know, I am being charged with possession of illegal substances, and I am also being charged with a penalty for selling illegal substances, but I am guessing you just came here to sit and look pretty, not doing research. Hyung, didn't you say you were bringing a lawyer, not your little Toy?" he says, attempting to be smart and sexist.

Y/N raises her brows. "Mr. Bang, let me inform you that I am well aware of your charges and the sentencing that you can receive, unless you prefer orange jumpsuits as a clothing aesthetic or the enjoyment of having chronicles in the showers initiated by dove soap. Be my guess and enjoy your sentence. Y/N challenges and warns him. Hoseok smirks proudly. "Now, as your lawyer would allow me to do my job and give a detailed statement," she says. Hanshik sighs, "Fine, but I'm going to speak in Korean."

Y/n nods "That's fine, I'll have him translate for me after." Hanshik looks around and begins to speak in his native tongue to Hoseok. He attentively listens to each word, making sure not to miss any details. Hanshik gives a brief explanation of why an undercover cop is a bad man. And the only reason he had arrested him was because Hanshik refused to allow him to pay less for a large amount of cocaine.


Hanshik looks at Y/N and asks, "What's your opinion on the police?" He tests her. Y/N chuckles. "I wouldn't trust them as far as I can throw them everything corrupt, but the system is the most corrupt," she reveals.

"Well, keep like that because you will never know what goes undercover," Hanshik hints, and she understands instantly. "I see it got you here; the system beat you to the pulp," she responds. Hanshik chuckles. "Damm right, it did try to take my rights just for the upper hand of these phoney up-righteous men," he continues to hint.


"Want some word of advice?" Y/N asks Hanshik, and he shrugs. "The floor is yours," he responds. Y/N smirks, "Enjoy the jumpsuit; don't trust me or anyone; that's all you need to know. Thank you for today," she says, standing up, which throws Hoseok in shock. Hanshik pokes his cheek. "Mwo-rago (what)" he says, and Y/N smiles. "Get used to these walls, Bang Hanshik," she repeats, slowly mocking him.

Y/N looks at Hoseok. "May we leave?" she says, and he nods and excuses himself, which pisses off Hanshik as he watches Y/N walk off. Hanshik stops Hoseok and quickly hands him over the bracelet as he speaks in his native tongue, saying he has images of the police officer doing drugs on multiple occasions, but his phone had been confiscated, so he had kept a virtual copy. Y/N sits in the car, waiting for Hoseok.

Hoseok enters, giving her a stern look. "What was that for?" he says before signalling the driver to start the engine. Y/N looks at him. "What was what?" she responds, pretending to be clueless. Hoseok glares. "What you did back there, Mr. Bang Hanshik, isn't just anyone; he is a major client to you. What part of your life is at risk if you fail this case?" Hoseok expresses his worries, and Y/N shrugs. "If it is my time, then it is my time," she says before looking again at his file.
