Stardew Valley Fair

It was Fall.

I had my brand new horse, I called him Bojack and Elliott loved him so much.

He started also coming over to my farm more often and even if I was busy planting and harvesting the seeds for the upcoming fair I had some time to spend with them.

"What a marvelous animal it is" said Elliott watching Bojack one morning. "Here" I threw him an apple and he panicked "You want me to feed him?" "Yup! You can do it! Come on, go closer." He was a bit afraid of the huge brown horse but he managed to give him the apple with no problems. He chuckled. "He's so adorable..." "If you want to stay in my place I have to run an errand" I said grabbing my pickaxe. "I'll come back in a bit."

I hop on Bojack and went to the mines in the north, I had a promise with Maru and Emily to find beautiful rocks for them.

After a full day of mining all I was found were some Quarts and an Amethist.

I came back home and Elliott was waiting for me "Daisy... Welcome back... I brew you some tea, you seem exhausted." I really was.

The next morning I went first to buy some hay at Marnie's cottage. Bojack eat a lot of that stuff.

It was Blackberry season so I walked around and grabbed as much as I could from the wild bushes. I wanted to prepare my famous Blackberry Cobbler for Elliot.

I met Shane on the way to the town and, of course, he would not talk to me.

Next stop was Emily's house. I stayed outside, knocked on her door and she was so surprised. "This kind of Quarts is the most powerful! I love this! And, the Amethist! Are you sure I can keep them?" "Of course, those are my gift for you, because you always tailor beautiful dresses for me." She hugged me. Then I walked to Robin's house and gave the rest of the quartz to Maru for her experiments, and on the way back home I saw the Community Center.

There was a crowd of people so I joined to see what was happening.

They all were shouting "Boycott Joja! Boycott Joja!" The owner of Joja mart was in the middle and Pierre was facing him. "People don't want your products anymore. Leave the town for good. Once for all!" Everyone was cheering. Not Shane, because he worked for Joja but he was watching silently and nodding. "What's happening here?" I said. "People want joja to leave the town so we will stop buying from that shop. Life was better before Joja came to this town."

Joja owner left and we never saw him in town again.

"What? A Movie Theater?" "Yeah! Instead of Joja mart we're gonna build a Movie theater! Isn't it wonderful! And most importantly I will be open 7 days a week from now on!" Pierre announced proudly. "That's good for you Pierre. See you at the fair."

Abigail stopped me "Ehm... I know you found some Amethist lately... if you don't mind I would like to have some too...Emily showed me..." "It's ok! I will bring some to you as well."

"Delicious! I mean... thanks!" I was confused but I left Pierre's shop to meet Elliott again that night.

We met at my farm and we had Cranberry Candy, a juice I personally made with my cranberries, apples and sugar. "I wish this would last forever" Elliott said, looking at the sunset with me.

The fair was starting, I found a new scarecrow at the stall and it was beautiful because it was made like the Howl's moving castle one, Miyazaki's movie. There were many activities to try and tourist was around town. I placed my products on the counter for the competition, the Mayor would judge. I spent some time fishing at the fishing stall and I won a hat, I put it on Elliott and said "Now you really look like a farmer's boyfriend!" He laughed.

We got closer to the buffet and Elliott said: "The smokey aroma drew me here, yet 'twas the zesty sauce that truly sealed my fate... *gurgle*" Gus, the Stardrop saloon owner, was an excellent cook but he kept that sauce recipe a secret for everyone.

We met Robin and Demetrius with all the family and spent some time chatting about Maru's experiments and about her engagement with the doctor Harvey and then the Mayor announced the winner of the competition: ME!

He gave me a trophy and Elliott hugged me as I hold it high up my head.

Many pumpkin were almost ready in my garden, for Halloween.
