"Daisy wake up! I have a surprise!" Elliott was awake before 6, at my Cottage.

He made pancakes and his eyes were shining. "What's happening?" "Today dress up elegantly and come with me at the library because... I finished the novel... I want to read it some part to the community... and well... you have to be there, with me. My muse."

I was so happy, I hugged him so hard and didn't want to let go. "Of course I will be there! Let me water the pumpkins and I'm ready to go."

We went to the Library with our umbrellas and everyone were here despite the rain, first in the row Penny, the girl I met in the spa.

The whole town was there. "I'm so relieved to be done with my book, it's like an elephant been lifted off my shoulders." This is how Elliott started his speech.

"Well, I'd better get started with my reading." He clears his throat and said, standing in the middle of the room: "Good afternoon everyone. Ever since I was a young boy, I've dreamt of becoming a writer. When the time came for me to leave home and start my own life, I moved here. I was drawn to the peaceful beauty of the Valley, and hoped that days of quiet reflection in this idyllic atmosphere would fan the literary flames." Everyone was smiling at him.

"After countless hours scribbling at my writing desk, I present to you my first novel "Camellia Station" It's a romance about a train stewardess who falls in love with a traveling architect"

We looked at each other.

"Chapter One. 'Your ticket, sir?' Ticket collector Gozman extended a gloved hand towards the young commuter. 'Ah, yes. I have it right here,' he replied, reaching into his coat pocket. Mortified, he discovered that the ticket was missing."

Time passed and he kept reading his book out loud. I was so proud of him.

"...'Clara, there's something I must tell you,' he blurted as she turned to leave. Clara turned, slowly, and saw the look of desperation in Horatio's eye. At that moment Gozman burst into the compartment, red-faced."

He closed the book. "Well that concludes my reading, I'll be selling signed copies by the front desk! Thanks for listening!"

He came back to me and said "Well how was it?" I smiled at him, didn't need to say anything: I was in tears. "You know I got this idea from you right? Do you remember?" "I dedicated this book to you." I kissed him on the lips and I fixed his green tie. "Come on go see your fans"

Leah was there for a copy too, she smiles as she got the book and accepted finally the situation.

Days would pass fast and the pumpkin were ready, I called Maru, Penny and Emily to come home and make them into Jack o'Lanterns faces. We spent days decorating the town and getting ready for the Spirit's Eve.

Emily made a Halloween costume for all of us, we were dressed up like witches but in different colours.

It was the final day and everything was set. Gus took care of the buffet as always and everyone were in town right after 10pm. The kids got funny face masks, like dinosaur and skeleton one. People were chattering and move toward the Maze who was right in the front of the community center. I entered it with the girls, and it was so much fun! Zombie hands coming up from the ground, a tv like the ring one! Big spiders! We managed to reach the end of the maze and we found a secret passage that lead us to a final prize: a golden pumpkin!

We came back to the buffet and Willy and Elliott were there, sipping some pumpkin soup.

Fall too, with all its marvelous colors, wasabout to end.
