A couple hours earlier before the cures' encounter with the Osensareta, our villains were staring at the small gems in their hands. Tsumi’s was blue, Kanten’s was red, and Tatsumaki’s was lime green. These were used to steal the inner storms of the humans and create heartaches.
Except.. They were having a little trouble choosing a target this time.
“..Ugh!” Tsumi had stood up suddenly. “No wonder you barely attack, Tatsu! You probably spend ages thinking about who you’re going to use!”
“I agree with Tsumi! I say we head on over to Earth and have our pick there!”
The winged elf let out a scoff. “Again, it’s that thinking that makes your Heartaches less efficient than mine..”
“On the contrary, Tatsu-chan..~ I think Kanten’s idea is wonderful..~”
Upon hearing the familiar voice, the three generals looked to see a bunch of flowers appear before revealing a pink faerie.
Kanten jumped in surprise. "Spriggan! You're back!"
"..ugh, Spriggan.." Tsumi muttered under her breath.
Spriggan put her arms out as if inviting the generals for a hug. "Did you miss me?~"
"Not particularly," Tatsumaki said bluntly.
"I see you're as cold as always, Tatsu~" The faerie feigned sadness, putting a hand on her cheek.
The siren suddenly spoke up.
"What are you doing here anyway? Shouldn't you be finishing up your work in the Spring Kingdom or something?"
"That's what I'd like to know also," Tatsumaki looked at Spriggan, expecting an answer.
"Why so serious, guys?" Kanten asked. "She just came back, why bother her with questions?"
"It's quite alright, Kanten..~ Tsumi and Tatsumaki have a right to know why I'm here." Spriggan pulled out a nearby ice chair and took a seat. "Gather around, children~"
Reluctantly, Tsumi and Tatsumaki sat down near Spriggan. Kanten wasn't as reluctant.
"Just when I was finished sprucing up the place with my charm, I saw a bright light in the heart of the place..~ It looked a lot like a portal.. Except.. It looked like.. some Precure made it." Spriggan paused for a moment.
"Did you guys happen to know about these precure?~"
Spriggan's annoyingly saccharine voice sounded a lot more eerie this time.
"..Well.. Um.. I did happen to run into one.. while I was on Earth.." Tsumi said, looking down.
Kanten laughed a little nervously. "There may be two, haha.."
"It's nothing we can't handle," Tatsumaki stated.
The faerie simply smiled. "There’s three of them, isn't there..?"
The winged elf refused to answer.
Spriggan sighed. "I really wished you guys would inform me about these things.. Luckily, they all seem to be falling under my illusion spell, so it doesn't look like those cures are too bright..~" She then looked back at them.
"..However, you guys aren't that bright either."
That struck a nerve.
"..You little-!" Tsumi got ready to charge at the faerie, but didn't get too far thanks to Kanten holding her back.
"Calm down, Tsumi!"
"CALM DOWN!? SHE JUST CALLED US IDIOTS RIGHT TO OUR FACES!"
Tatsumaki glared at Spriggan. "You just love making people mad, don't you?"
