"Um, why are we here again?"

"To investigate, Kaede." I remind her. "Recently, all of the kidnappings have been happening around here. So many Ultimates have gone missing, and I have a feeling that it isn't just for their talents..."

"Wouldn't that be the best reason to kidnap them?!" Kokichi raises his eyebrow. "Y'know, for a talent that only they specialize in?"

I shake my head. "What would they do with them then? Steal their talents? That should be impossible without some futuristic technology."

The purple-haired sighs. "It was worth a shot."

"So why are we breaking into your dad's school?" Kaede asks. "Can't we just ask him anything?"

"We could... but I doubt he'd know. Why would the kidnappers tell him anything?" I inquire. "We have to get to the root of the problem ourselves." With that, I hurry towards the school doors. To my surprise, they're already open. Maybe a teacher is working late...

"As a leader of crime, I think you should worry about the security cameras," Kokichi suggests.

"I'll explain everything to my dad later." I say over my shoulder. I hold the door open and beckon for the two to go inside.

Once we're in the building, I check my phone for a map. Although I'm here way more often than any other student, I haven't gotten to explore the entire school. It's way too big!

"The west wing is where we're headed. That's where the Steering Committee's rooms should be, and they know everything about the school."

"And what are we supposed to do when we get there?" Kokichi asks, tilting his head.

"I... didn't think that far. I guess we'll just do some snooping..." I murmur, continuing down the hallway.

After going up a series of stairs and venturing many hallways, we finally make is to the Steering Committee's wing. But there's something off about it as soon as we enter.

"Someone's still here," Kaede says quickly. "I can hear them. Maybe we should turn back-"

"Let's apprehend them!" Kokichi interrupts her enthusiastically. "Then we'll be able to question them!"

"But what if they're innocent? We can't apprehend someone innocent!" the blonde protests.

"We shouldn't apprehend anyone, but we shouldn't turn back either." I declare. "We need to keep moving. If they're only in one room, it should be easy to avoid them."

"But, Shuichi..." Kaede starts. She trails off and shakes her head, trying to ignore her doubt. "Okay, let's go."

Kaede, Kokichi, and I sneak down the hall, glancing into each room as we pass them. We come across a room labeled as a "Computer Lab," which I assume was once used for students. I peer into the window, only to realize that someone's green eyes are peering right back at me.

"S-Shuichi?!" the person gasps. I jump in shock, backing away from the door.

"No, no! Don't be scared. It's just me!" The intruder opens the door slowly to reveal themselves.

"...Ms. Yukizome?!"

We all file inside the room, shutting the door behind us. Ms. Yukizome shuffles around, collecting notes and other papers she had either gathered or written herself.

"I didn't expect to meet you all here. Also, welcome back, Kaede! I'm your homeroom teacher, Ms. Yukizome."

"It's nice to meet you," Kaede smiles politely. "What are you doing here?"
