It didn't take long for the police to arrive with a search party, Samad and Varun were also with them. They all split up into three teams.
'It will start getting dark soon, and there is only so much ground we can cover, we have asked for sniffer dogs to be sent in, that will help speed up the process somewhat' Samad thanked the inspector.
'Sidharth, keep your mobile to hand'
'I will do'.
The teams had been searching for almost two hours with nothing, the sun had started to set turning the sky darker by the minute. 'Maybe I was wrong...they are not here' Rohan said trying to catch his breath, Sidharth was about to turn around when he felt a cold breeze on the back of his neck, it was almost like the one he felt when he first met her 'Shehnaaz he whispered, he quickly turned around and narrowed his eyes as he tried to see in the distance 'Rohan...is that...come...I think there is something there' Rohan called out to the team of officers that stood a few feet away and started to follow Sidharth, as they got closer and closer Rohan realised that Sidharth had seen right there was a small shack in between some trees. They picked up their pace, one of the inspectors called out to Sidharth to wait but there was no stopping him. Sidharth kicked the door down and ran in calling out for Shehnaaz and Tia. After a few second Rohan and the police also reached they all split up looking around for any sign of them 'Sidharth look' he turned towards Rohan who was pointing at Shehnaaz and Tia's handbags, Sidharth picked them up to find their mobile phones in them 'they were here...they can't have gotten far...maybe they saw us searching further afield'.
Sidharth closed his eyes, the pain he felt inside was crippling him, he felt so helpless, as he stood up ready to follow the police officers out her heard a muffle.
'wait...what was that?'
'What was what?'
'I heard something' 'Sidharth it may just have been the wind rustling the trees outside.
' 'no Rohan...listen' as Sidharth silenced everyone they listened out, and then they all heard it. Rohan looked at Sidharth and they both ran towards the back of the shack where they saw a large covering. As soon as Rohan pulled it back he saw Tia lying on the floor with her hands and feet tied and a tape covering her mouth, her face was stained with mud and dried tears. 'Tia' he screamed out as he went to her, he quickly untied her after which she fell in his hold and cried out. The pain in her shrieks pierced through his heart.
'Its ok sweetheart, we are here...you are safe... Tia where is Shehnaaz?' Tia looked up at Rohan and then at Sidharth.
'he...he took her, Sidharth...that guy...he...' Sidharth felt weak at the knees he dropped to the floor.
'Tia what did he do?? where did he take her??' he asked as his voice continued to shake
'Who is he...he...she...' Tia couldn't speak, the fear and pain of her ordeal started to take over.
By this time Samad arrived with Varun, Varun ran to his sister and took her into his hold. 'Thank God you are ok, shhh...don't cry please...you are safe' Rohan placed his hand over her shoulder.
'Tia where is Shehnaaz...what did he do to her?' Tia looked straight at Sidharth
'I don't know where he has taken her...his eyes...they were bright red, he was raging in anger, I have never heard anyone curse so much. She tried to fight him off, but he kept on lashing out at her...in the end she fell...I tried to cry out, scream out but I was tied...I couldn't help her...I remember her looking at me, she smiled and just before she passed out she said your name, she kept saying Sidharth...I am so sorry Sidharth...I couldn't help her'
