"He is beautiful." Ohm caressed Noah's sleeping face while Noah was asleep between Nanon and Ohm.

"I know. I used to stare at his face for months after he was born. It was unbelievable for me." Nanon replied.

"It is till unbelievable for me. But I am just very happy."

"And am happy to see you both together like this." Nanon said holding Ohm's hand.

Ohm looked at Nanon and smiled once squeezing his hand gently. "I promise I will do everything in my power to keep you both safe. Even if it costs my life."

"I know. I am sorry it took me so long to come to you." Nanon said guiltily.

"No need to be sorry about anything that happened in past. We will just look ahead now." Ohm said and kissed Nanon's forehead once after repeating the gesture with Noah.

"I love you." Nanon said kissing back Ohm's forehead.

"I love you too." Ohm said smiling wide joining his temple with Nanon's while they both looked down at Noah.

"I'd rather die than live without you anymore." Nanon said. "And I will fight with you. At every step."

"Promise me. If one day you need to protect anyone from Noah and me, you will protect Noah." Ohm said pulling back.

"Why the hell..."

"Just promise."

Nanon looked at Ohm for a long time before hesitantly nodding.

"Where is Tun?" I asked Mek while getting ready for the inevitable meeting. When Mek called me in the morning, I rushed to check in the room to find Nanon sound asleep and Noah missing. We searched the whole house but couldn't find him.

"I am afraid we have lost him." Mek replied biting the inside of his lips in order to suppress his anger and tears.

"And I don't think we can be in time to save Keith as well." I said blankly knowing Knight's way very well. I am shattered with the loss of my two brothers whom I held dear to heart. But all I hope now is Knight should not lay a finger on Noah. Because for the reason known best to me, Noah is not whom he wants. I wiped the tears from my eyes once before prepping myself.

God forbid if I find even a single scratch on Noah's face, I will rip apart Knight piece by piece.

"Lock Nanon in the room. Make sure he doesn't get out. Also Boom and Pond and the two girls."

Mek nodded in agreement having no way to argue.

I know Nanon will not stay put if he finds out about Noah being kidnapped. But this is Knight we are talking about. And I don't want Nanon to recall what had happened to him so many years back. His memory is better lost than having to remember the horrible past. He will be so hurt... I don't know how he will be able to live with it.

I know how past haunts you. And I don't want Nanon to go through that.
