You stood there holding a gun to the head of the man that killed your parents when you were a little girl. You always swore you would find justice where the police couldn't. And once the murders started back up? You knew you had to put a stop to it because nobody else was smart enough to do so.

You followed the investigation to a T. Even when the FBI was brought in you didnt think they would find the man despite there promises to do so when you came in to find out if the news had been telling the truth or not.

Honestly? You got fed up with waiting and as soon as they found out who it was? You did too because one of the officers was a friend of yours they had been keeping you in the loop during the entire investigation.

You, However made it to this guy before anyone else. Unfortionetly? Seconds later the FBI showed up and you were holding him at gun point.

Course, They wanna talk you down without you getting hurt, But the years of rage and pain built up into one made you wanna make sure this guy couldn't ever hurt another family again.

Morgan was before you. You had met him when they first arrived. He had promised to catch this guy and put an end to it.

"You don't wanna do this Y/N" He insists with his wespon drawn. Your eyes meet his for a fluttering second you aren't sure you want to. You're surrounded by people with weapons. You had no idea if they would take you down by force if they had to. But.. You also knew you couldn't let this guy have even a sliver of a chance of getting out again.

"I have to. I can't take the chance of him ever getting out again!" Your voice is filled with emotions. To many to count.

Morgan sighs and tries to keep his cool. He puts away his weapon and inches a little closer. You tense and press the gun firmer to the guys head.

He however? Didn't seem afraid at all. He had a sickening smile on his face like he was daring you to shoot him. He had been egging you on the entire time. Bragging about how he killed your parents and left you an orphan to be alone for the rest of your pathetic life.

The words cut deep and only made you want him dead that much more.

"Please, Just give me the gun. Let me help you" Morgan's tone is insistent and careful hes gauging your every reaction to see if he actually has a chance to stop you.

In your head? There was no chance. This. Is what you HAD to do.

But.. Much to your mistake? Never turn your back on the "Enemy". Because of your attention being on Morgan you faltering the slightest bit. It gave the bastard the chance to break free of your grip and turn the tables on you.

Within blurred seconds he had you flipped around and he stole the gun and pointed it at you instead. He was smug aboht this and laughed in a taunting manner.

"Silly little girls shouldn't play with the big boys" The guy sneers in your ear. The anger is still seering in your gaze but behind that is the fear of your own death coming quicker then you had ever imagined.

Morgan curses harshly under his breath and takes his weapon back out. Thankfully he had an entire team with him because as soon as the sick Fuck tried to pull the trigger he was shot in the back of the head by Morgan's partner Prentiss.

His body hits the ground you have his blood on you and your stomach churns. You drop to your knees pale in the face and shaking.

Morgan rushes over with a grateful look to Emily. He scoops you into his arms with little to no effort and carries you away from the lifeless bastard on the ground. At least now you knew he couldn't hurt anyone again.

Morgan drove you back home after it all happened. Nobodh was gonna press charges on you for wanting justice, but Morgan wanted to make sure you got home safe.

He stayed while you took a burning hot shower to get the guys blood off you. You felt disgusted having it on you.

He stayed after your shower. You had tea together because he wanted to assure you weren't a danger to yourself. But now? Despite him being dead. You still wished your parents were here.

Morgan offered the best comfort he could and listened for hours while you talked fondly about your loving parents.

You dozed off hours later and he laid you in bed. Then? He was gone. To fight anoher bad guy and save more people. To you? Derek Morgan was an angel with a gun and badge.
