Second In Command

It's not uncommon for Tord to leave me standing in the halls alone, waiting for him to finish up some conversation a few feet away in a sketchy looking corner. Minding my own business is easy for me but not for many others, so I basically just stand guard and watch if anyone approaches or tries to eavesdrop.

The day seemed to be going well so I didn't expect any problems to arise anytime soon. As I waited for Tord's chat to wrap up, a group of 5 soldiers pass by being very disruptive and immature. Most of them yelling and goofing off with their weapons, it made me roll my eyes in annoyance. Surprisingly it's pretty rare to see it, at least to my own eyes or Tord's; most people know when to act presentable around authority. Although these idiots didn't seem to care or otherwise know. Once it got to a point where they were interrupting others passing by and making disgusting remarks at women, I found that to be enough.

"Excuse me, that's highly inappropriate." I state calmly, loud enough for all of them to pick up on. The group froze their shenanigans and turned to look at me with anger. They seemed to be shocked that someone would call them out on their bullshit, which made it clear to me that they must've gotten away with things before.

Probably due to intimidation no one cared to say anything, as one piped up and said, "What'd you say?" getting in my face. He was tall and towered over me slightly but wasn't as scary or in control as he'd like to portray himself as. It was only a nuisance to me as I had to tilt my head up slightly.

My facial expression never changed, keeping my deadpan stare as I answered, "I out-rank you. I have the power to order you to stop messing around."

"You know, you're real fucking short to be trying to tell me what to do. I could easily kick your ass, midget!" The guy threatened. I didn't entertain him with any reaction and only kept my composure. There was no point to escalate things further as I thought he'd more than likely give up due to my lack of fucks given. Although, the sudden warmth I felt wrapping itself around my waist made me flinch.

Yeah, I figured as much. I looked up at Tord standing beside me, his face twisted in displeasure to what I assumed he heard. "Is there a problem here?" He pulled me closer to him, his left arm gripped tightly around my body, glaring at the group but more specifically the braver one of the bunch who decided to speak up. Tension filled the air but I found it rather humorous.

#1 dickhead here decided to open his mouth again after sharing worried glances with his buddies behind him. "Who... Who the fuck are you?" He asked, pointing a finger directly at me. That cleared things up, he actually didn't know who I was which makes the most sense. It's not as if I actually make my way throughout the entire base all of the time. There are plenty of areas I rarely, if ever, visit. They're just a bunch of unknowing little troublemakers who picked with the wrong person.

"Watch your mouth soldier." Tord said sternly. "You've already made a mistake by threatening my second in command." He dropped an octave in pitch mentioning my position in authority. Which certainly caught their attention. They stared in disbelief as I smirked ever so slightly to myself.

Many apologies were given but they didn't get off that easily. All 5 of them had been given extra work as well as 3 rest days taken from them, not being paid for the span of the punishments. It was enough to satisfy me but I could tell that Tord would've definitely enjoyed a small ass kicking. Honestly, I would enjoy seeing that as well but we must stay professional, unfortunately.

Actually, forget that, Tord doesn't care about being professional. His hand gripped my ass softly as I turned to face his sly smile. Leaning over to my ear, "8:30, my room, I'll let you off 2 and a half hours early." he whispered. Quickly giving my butt a couple of pats, he walked away.

I scoffed and checked my watch, 8:00. My cheeks flushed as I bit my lip. Horny bastard. Hopefully no one saw that.

Really trying to get time and motivation to write but I've been busyyy! I'll try harder.
