After a while the media attention was quiet, and Lucas and Max were very relieved. Sure their names popped up again a few times with the year's closing awards ceremony coming up. It wasn't as bad as it was back then, but they didn't mind.
The past 4 years have been a breeze, the two of them moved in together and started working on their documentary. They felt that it would be nice for the public to see how they live their lives and how the past years have gone. From behind the scenes and from the beginning of their courtship.
Yes, they did get married. It wasn't much of a shock, they both act like old souls to one another. It was still very nice nonetheless, all their friends and family were in attendance that day. They were happy, now they will be overjoyed.
The two of them, along with the producers and many other people who helped create their documentary, came to a point of great success with it getting nominated for this year's 'Acadamy award for Best Documentary Feature Film'. It would have to be the best out of other documentaries before securing the top spot. The two of them were ecstatic about it.

"Welcome everyone to this year's Oscars. We here at the Academy are so thrilled and excited for everyone here tonight in hopes to take home one of these golden figures"
The first awards were being handed out for smaller categories. As the night went on, so did the nerves. It was hard to tell but underneath the tablecloth and the flow of her dress, Max was bouncing her leg. This was a habit for her from back then, it never really went away. She knew it wasn't stupid to be nervous, but it made her glance around at her tablemates. She finally looked towards Lucas. He looked back at her, it gave her the reassurance she needed.
Finally, it was real. The moment in this precise time. Everyone went quiet around her as the man on stage came up and introduced the next category. "Many professionals in the storytelling industry have wanted so much to give intel on what it's like behind the scenes. The true stories behind such great people. These are the nominees for Best Documentary Feature Film".
The big screen flashed with clips from films, each with its creator and producers. Lucas knew about some of the other nominees. The suspense was killing them as much as the others in the room, it was like a ticking time bomb. The screen lastly flipped to their very own creation. The voice spoke in the speakers, "A Glimpse, Maxine, and Lucas Sinclair. Production by Hawkins Co." Max smiled as she watched snips of her and Lucas's project. "You're a stalker" Her voice said vividly as it finished playing clips from the film.
The audience clapped as the screen then showed each nominee. "And the Acadamy Award goes to..." He pulled out the envelope and proceeded to unfold it. "A Glimpse, Maxine, and Lucas Sinclair!" Her jaw dropped. It took her a moment to realize that they won. Lucas has to shake her shoulders. She finally stood up and gave a big hug to her husband and turned to the producers to do the same.

Somewhere else...
"And the Academy Award goes to...A Glimpse, Maxine, and Lucas Sinclair!" The man's voice came through on the television. "This is the first win and nomination for these two legendary sports figures" The voiceover spoke through again. They smiled, they cheered, and they cried. Well...Billy did. All their friends are together underneath the same roof. In all of their years, they didn't need to be considered friends, they were family.
