The next day was Tuesday September 10th, I was pretty damn excited to see her. I jumped in the car and took her face in my hands, I kissed her deeply trying to take in as much of her as I could.

"well good morning Mr. Munson." She said. Giggling

"Sorry. No I'm not sorry. Maybe I missed you." He said.

"it's been all of maybe 16 hrs? But I missed you too." She smiled

"Are you gonna make it to the hide out tonight? It's Tuesday."

"Shit. No I can't. Dad's having a big dinner for everyone at the dealership, its like a fancy thing. Mom and I have to go." She said pouting. "maybe next week."

I made a super pouty face. "fine. Next week."

We made it to school and went about our day. After 2nd period I found her in the hall. "Guess who got an A on his Spanish test!" I said skipping around.

"Oh my God Eddie! Bein trabajo! Look at you" she said smiling shoving me in the shoulder.

"I know! I haven't got an A in a really long time. I probably owe you half the credit but still." I smiled.

"fantastic! I'll see you later I gotta go." She smiled at me and walked away.

At the lunch bell rang and I grabbed my lunch box. I was thinking about the set for tonight. I was distracted and didn't think about where Annie was. I found the guys at our normal table and sat down. Just then Annie walked over with her lunch tray. "Hey nerds." She said.

"You wanna sit?" I asked

"There's no room. I'll go sit with Veronica."

I scooted my chair out a little and patted my lap.

"Ha. You're funny. I'll see you after 5th"

After school we drove to my place. I got out of the car and lit a cigarette. Annie got out too and leaned on the hood of the car. Annie took the cigarette out of my hand and took a drag.

"So what's going on here? Are we an us or are you just taking advantage of the fact that I'm giving you a ride to school?" She said smiling and handing the cigarette back.

"woah, woah. If anyone is taking advantage of anything I think its YOU. You were the one who took advantage of my leg yesterday."

She looked down at the grown embarrassed and looked back up at me.

"yeah I guess I did. It was nice. I might just do it again. But the question is. Am I your girlfriend?"

"do you wanna be my girlfriend? Do you wanna be with Eddie 'the freak' Munson?"

"Yeah. Yeah I do." She smiled.

"Then yeah, you are. Annie Adams, you are my girlfriend." I smiled and put one arm around her waist spinning her into me. I kissed her. Then she kissed me harder and longer. When we pulled away she was still smiling which made me smile.

"OK good." She said. "I should go. But good luck. Or break a leg or whatever. I'll miss you."

She got in the car. Her window was down I reached my head in and kissed her again.

The gig was whatever. Same shit as last week. But it was nice to get up there.

I wanted to call Annie when I got back to the house but it was late. Oh well guess ill have to wait until the morning.
