chapter 16

Allie's POV

    I put my guitar in the back of the car and walk through the empty house. I smile and frown as I remember everything that's happened here. I walk back outside and stand in front of Leo. "I'm gonna miss you nerd." He said. "I'll miss you too loser." I said and threw my arms around his neck. He wrapped his arms around my waist and held me close to him.

    When we break apart we're both on the verge of tears. I give his mum a goodbye hug and say goodbye to Charlie. I get in the car and watch them wave as we drive away. I put my headphones on and close my eyes as we make the drive.

    2 hours later my mum wakes me up and tells me to text Bailey.

Me: We're almost at the house.

Bailey: Alright. I'll be over.

    I put my phone down and watch through the windows. It's more crowded. There's more buildings. It's new.

    Within a few minutes we were at the new house. It was just a couple over from Bailey's so I could visit him a lot. Calum and the boys lived next door.

    The truck with everything on it pulled up behind us. Bailey came up and looked through the house with me. "Which one's your room?" He asked. "I don't know yet." I say as we go up the next flight of stairs.

    I walked into a room that overlooked the neighbourhood. "This is my room." I said and looked out of the window. I walked out and went into the room next to it. "And this is my music room." I said and ran my hand along the walls.

    We went back down to the bottom floor and got everything out of the moving truck. Bailey helped me carry all of my boxes up to my room and then we helped my mum. When we had all the boxes up he helped me set up my room.

     I turned on music and put all of my clothes up while Bailey got my decorations out. "So when are you going to the school?" Bailey asked. "We're going today to get my uniform then I start going to class tomorrow. Since I know you they let us have the same schedule." I said. "Sweet. You'll like it a lot." He said. I nodded and made my bed.

     We put things up on the walls and strung lights around my room. I put pictures up on my shelves and set pillows in my window. When we had my room done we went to the music room and hung up posters and lights. We set up my drum set, piano, and guitar before going downstairs.

    "Allie, we need to go by the school to get your things. Would you like to come Bailey?" Mum asked. "Sure." He said. We drove to the school and went to the office. Mum filled out some papers while Bailey showed me around the school.

    "The bell's about to ring. Come on." He said and started to run down the hall. I ran after him and we stopped outside a set of lockers. "What are we doing?" I asked Bailey. "Just wait." He said and leaned against the locker.

    The bell rang and kids rushed out of their class rooms. A group of kids walked up to Bailey and I, one I recognized as Joe. "What are you doing here?" Joe asked us. "I go to school here now." I said. "So you're who Bailey's been talking about." A girl with brown hair says. "I'm Hannah by the way. Big fan of your music." I blush and turn towards Bailey. "We have to catch up to you later. See ya." He said and we walked away.

    We went back to the office and sat in the chairs. Mum signed a couple more papers and we got my uniforms before going home. When we get home we unpack the rest of the boxes and put everything away. "I'm going to the store to get groceries. You can go by Calum's if you want." Mum said and left the house. "Do you want to go to Calum's?" I ask Bailey. "Why not." He said and shrugged. 

   I got my phone and we went over to their house. I rang the doorbell and waited for someone to answer. Ashton opened the door and invited us in. "Calum's upstairs. Very top floor." He said and went to the lounging room. I ran up the stairs followed by Bailey.

   I went into the room I guessed would be Calum's. "How's it going?" I asked him. "Great. Did you get your house set up?" He said. "Yeah. Mum went to get groceries." I said and sat on his bed. "Are you starting school tomorrow?" He asked. "Yeah. I don't want to go yet." I said. "You'll be fine. If anyone messes with you, tell them I'll be there to bear their asses." Calum smiled.

    We stayed there for an hour before going back home. "Allie, I picked up some pizzas." Mum said and walked through the door. We helped her bring everything back in and got the pizza. We went up to my room and went onto the balcony.

    "So you have all of my classes?" Bailey asked. "Yep." I said and took a bite. "That's good. Because there's a few people that you need to look out for." He said. "Oh. What about people I do hang out with?" I asked. "Joe and Hannah are some. There's a few more but I'll introduce you tomorrow." He said. I nodded and finished my pizza.

    A few hours later Bailey went back home. I laid my uniform out for tomorrow and took a shower. Hello Milton Keynes...
