The parking lots were filled with lots of luxurious car. Nickolai skillfully pulled up in a space and came to get the door for me.

"Nickolai" I called nervously looking around the expensive hall occupied by different wealthy and famous people alongside with the paparazzi making me feel a bit out of place. I felt his arm around my waist and he pulled me to his side.

"Don't worry darling, you'll be fine" he gave my hand a small squeeze and led us in.

"Mr D'Amano who is she, your girlfriend?"
"Is she your new slut?" "Are you engaged sir?" "Rumor has it she's with your brother already?" "Is Mr Raul cheating on his wife?"

Different questions were thrown at us making me dig my nails into his palm.

"Ignore them Angel, soon you'll get use to this" he whispered as we walked away from them. I know that soon I'll have to get use to the paparazzis and their annoying questions.

He led us to our reserved seat and pulled a chair out for me and I thanked him. I used the opportunity to glance around the exquisite hall and I was impressed by its cobalt blue and white theme.

The ceremony began and soon appetizers were served. The sight of the apple pie had my stomach rumbling and I wondered how the main meal will be like.

"Here I forgot to give you this?" I looked up from my food and saw him holding out a black mask.

"What's it for?"

"For the dance" I nodded and took it from him. Great at least Raul wouldn't recognize me.

I was physically present but my mind wasn't here in the party at all cause I kept glancing around for a glimpse of him.

A familiar blonde walked in and I was expecting to see him but to my greatest disappointment she came in alone.

The long mermaid tail white dress hugged her slim figure with a sleeveless hand having a deep cut at the middle which revealed her white cleavage and a gold necklace hanging from her neck.

Her blonde hair was in a slick ponytail and her thin lips popped brightly cause of the red lipstick coating it.

She smiled brightly waving at the camera as she walked in.

Her eyes wandered around and when it landed on us her smile wavered off. I knew it was because of me but i couldn't careless cause the feeling was mutual. She gave them a small fake smile and started heading towards our direction.

"Nicko" she called as she drew closer to us.

He looked at her and gave her a smile. He stood up and they hugged each other.

"When did you get back? You didn't even tell me" she pouted and her face morphed into a slight frown.

"I'm sorry sister in law, I was kinda busy so I couldn't call''. She nodded with a small smile and her eyes finally landed on me turning into a glare.

"And why are you here?" She gritted out giving me a malicious look.

"Hello Mrs D'Amano" I gave a fake smile while I resisted the urge to roll my eyes.

"That's not the answer to my question slut what-- before I could get to snap at her Nickolai did it already.

"Catalina" Nickolai blocked her from coming any closer to me.

"Let me Nicko, I need to teach this bitch a lesson, you think i--- "What do you want to say Catalina? That I'm sleeping with your husband" I scoffed and rolled my eyes.

"Why're you so insecure Catalina? The world knows Raul D'Amano is a decent man and wouldn't do that unless you've cheated on him and you're so insecure he'll do the same cause I'm more beautiful than you're and will give him the pleasure he deserves" her face turned red and she screamed drawing people's attention.

Not ready to face any embarrassment i excused myself and left the both of them.

"You bitch" she yelled angrily

"You've gone crazy Catalina" Nickolai gritted out and chased after me.

I found myself at a flower garden. The cool soft wind embraced my skin as I stared at the starry sky.

"Angel" I heard his voice and I slowly turned around to face him. A look of concern filled his eyes.

"I'm sorry about Catalina" I swallowed and looked away from him taking in a deep breath.

"She isn't wrong Nickolai and I think you should stay away from me" I whispered and he softly tug on my arm.

"Hey-- he used his index to raise my chin up and for some reason I felt tears roll down my eyes.

"You are a reputable person Nickolai a-and I'm just a stripper, a slut" I gulped at the harsh truth.

"Angel, you aren't a slut please don't look down on yourself and do not mind Catalina words". I shook my head and let the tears fall.

"I-i'm sorry Nickolai i-- i just don't know, I- I can't help my feelings, i- I like-- I don't know, my life is confusing- you, Raul i-- "Shh" he placed his index on my lips.

"I understand Querida, I would never judge you, if you like Raul i-i understand" i looked at him confused and surprise.

I could see pain and anger in his eyes.

"But he is--

"We should stop deceiving ourselves Angel, I know I'm attracted to you but i fear I'll just use you for your body and break your heart. You need someone who'll love and cherish you Angel cause you're a queen and you deserve to be treated like one and I don't think I'm that person. I can't stick to a relationship, i thought it will be different with you but today made me realize that you should be more than just that woman that will satisfy my sexual desires.

I can only advice you to fight against your feelings for Raul, both sexual and-- you know the other kind" i stayed quiet looking into his eyes.

"But Nicko-- "Just listen to me Angel, if you can't fight your feelings for Raul and you're falling for him then I'll support you" I looked at him shocked.

"N-nickolai w-what about Catalina and isn't he your brother?"

"That's the point darling, he's my brother and--- a look of guilt and regret crossed his eyes but he was quick to hide it.

"Whatever it is I'll support you" his unfinished words and the look in his eyes made me curious.

"I'm sorry if I led you know on Nick--- he shushed me and pulled me into his embrace.
