Author's note: After a while part 8/?? of Pat/Non story from September.

Pat was never this nervous, walking from side to side in front of the clinic's gate. His mother was on her way, and he couldn't do anything if he wanted to help Non. Bussababans were powerful, but they were nothing compared to his family. He rarely used his surname as he was taught not to depend on power and wealth and live his life as if he had nothing. Thought his mother wished for him to take her place in the company. Pat was never interested in the business, leaving his younger sister to take the job instead. She was always better with numbers anyway.

The black car halted in front of him. Pat watched the driver open the back door, and his mother came out.

"My baby!" The woman shouted, pulling him into a tight hug. Pat didn't have a chance to fight her, letting her cling to him. He pretended he didn't like the way she acted, but deep in his heart, he loved her affection.

"Let go, mom." Pat wriggled out of her embrace.

"So, take me to my potential son-in-law." His mother opened her mouth, leaving him speechless.

"It's not like that. We didn't even have a decent conversation."Pat whined. His mother had a twisted way of thinking. Not that he didn't find Non attractive and extremely adorable, but his priority was to save him from his family.
