Stranger's pov.

The annoying sound of my alarm clock finally woke me up from my dream. I so didn't like that.

I rubbed the sleep out of my eyes and looked around. The other half of my bed was empty and looked like I'd had a fight with someone in my sleep.

"What the hell happend?", I asked myself.

Only now did I notice that my head was throbbing like hell. Crap. And that wasn't even the only thing. I was naked. I always slept in a shirt and boxer shorts. Why the hell am I naked?

My clothes from yesterday were lying on the floor and I suddenly remembered what exactly had happened.

I had been to a club with the boys. James had the silly idea of making a bet. The first one of us to have a girl gets a hundred dollars. Very childish, I know, but we all took part. While the others more or less mingled with the crowd, I stood at the bar. I didn't feel like the jostle so I stood outside and watched. Then she caught my eye. A tight black dress that was molded perfectly to her body. The matching black high heels. I only spoke to her when her friend was gone. More or less.

Since neither her clothes were here nor she was lying next to me, she must have already left. Too bad actually.

After a good shower and with fresh clothes on my body, I walked down the stairs to the kitchen. A coffee and a pill for the headache should be enough to start with. I just can't figure out anything else right now.

Arriving in the kitchen, the first thing I saw was a blond-haired woman with my favorite mug in her hand. First, why did she take my favorite cup. Secondly, what is she still doing here?

"What in god's name are you doing.", I didn't sound particularly happy.

No wonder with a headache and an unforgettable evening. The last one is actually a good thing. She gave me an I have no idea look like she didn't give a damn that this was my house.

"I need an hour to get home, curly. Let me drink the coffee okay?", she said.

Wait a minute. Did she just seriously call me curly? What is that for a stupid name? I just shook my head and made myself some coffee. The pills were also lying around somewhere but looking for them was somehow too time-consuming for me. But then she got ahead of me. She literally threw one of the pills in my face and as if that wasn't annoying enough it ended up in my coffee. What a good way to start the day.

"Ouch."

"Don't be dramatic. It didn't hurt.", she said and probably drank the last sip of the coffee in one gulp.

I don't know why, but everything I said about her yesterday suddenly seemed wrong. It was as if a complete stranger was sitting in front of me, which she was. There was nothing left of the woman I had found attractive yesterday. Or it just seemed that way to me.

I wasn't really hungry and she seemed to feel the same way. Or she had already eaten something but it didn't look like it.

"Hungry?", so I asked her.

I'm still the host. At least purely theorethically since it was my house. She looked at me like I just suggested to do it here on the table. A mix of surprise and disbelief could be seen in her eyes. It also seems silly to me, but when she takes an hour to get home? Having an empty stomach isn't the best idea.

"Why so nice?" she asked in return and looked at me challengingly.

Was that a game for her? Does she do this kind of thing often? No idea. How was I supposed to know that? I do not know her. I just slept with her because of a stupid bet. But I'm not regretting it so far.

"Which one of us takes an hour to get home. I'm not.", I said and smiled at her overly friendly.

I got to see her middle finger for that statement. After she finished her coffee, she rinsed the cup and put it back on the shelf. I could have done that on my own but I'd rather not say anything. Who knows what will happen then.

She had found the kitchen within a few minutes but not the hallway. So I showed her the way with my cup in hand. She had put on the leather jacket and slung the bag over her shoulder.

"This was a one time thing, okay?", she said to be safe.

I just stood there and grinned at her. I hadn't said that more would come of it. We both just had our fun and that was it. It wasn't called a one-night stand for nothing.

"You think i want to see you again? How naive of you sweetheart."

"Don't worry darlin', I don't want to see you again either.", she said with the most sarcastic smile I have ever seen.

With that she opened the door and a few seconds later the familiar calmness returned to my house. Much better.
