Phoenix's POV
April 2012

It's been months since we basically rescued the entirety of Woodbury. We haven't seen any sign of the Governor either and that's a good thing.

Since then though, we lost two people.

Andrea at Woodbury and Merle trying to protect the Prison and Daryl.

We welcomed Woodbury's people and they stay in D Block. Some, like Tyreese and Sasha, are in C with us though.

"Got a run today." Daryl says as we lie in bed together, him holding me and I sigh.

"Be careful please. I know you always are, but I just got a bad feeling about today for some reason." I say and he nods as he kisses me and I smile as my eyes flit closed.

The group going on the run leaves and I decide to help with the kids.

Carol does storytime usually, but I'm just watching them so their parents can do whatever they need to.

We are outside and I see these two girls, Lizzie and Mika, over at the fence with a few other kids.

I suddenly see Carl tell Lizzie something and then she runs off in tears, Mika following.

Later that evening, I see that Karen has a bad cough as well as David and shrug it off as the seasons are changing again and it could be sinus drainage again.

I go back to my cell, and soon Daryl wakes up.

Zack, Beth's boyfriend, died at the Big Spot. I decide to tell her in the morning and we go to sleep.

The next morning we are woken up to screams.

"Walkers in D!" Glenn yells and we both grab our things and run to the cell block, killing the walkers as we go, seeing someone shooting them as well.

Once this chaos is under control we find the source. Patrick.

"The hell happened to him?" Daryl asks and I shrug.

"Swine flu? Its carried by Pigs and Birds." I say and everyone looks around.

"We need medicine. Antibiotics. And we need to get rid of those hogs!" I say and Daryl nods.

Rick and Daryl get rid of the hogs as we call a meeting with the council.

"We need to clean out D. Bury the bodies." Hershel says and I nod.

"Wear gloves and a mask. We also need to find a place with medicine. And soon. Before more people get sick." He adds on and I nod.

We hear coughing outside and go out there to see Karen.

We decided that A block, although it's death row, is for quarantine since it's clean.

Ty takes Karen there and Daryl and I go to bury the dead.
