Sonic puts his hood over his head, and covers his legs with cloak, he opens the door to the temple, he looks around to make sure that he wasn't spotted, letting out a sigh of relief he leaves the temple, closing the door behind him, he started making his way out of the temple, he stepped in a puddle, the blue vampire covered his nose, that wasn't water he stepped in...it was blood. He steps back looking down the sacrifice room had been used recently...a blooding symbol of the Lord of Darkness on the ground than blood in the center of someone being sacrificed. Sonic shakes his head to try and snap out of the trance...he didn't need to lash out, not today, covering his noise he rushes through the room stepping outside, the scent was still there cause his boot was covered in blood.
"Come on...Sonic...your stronger than this...think of something else..." Sonic thought he takes a deep breath and thinks of something else that wasn't blood, he lets out a sigh of relief. Walking through the village to the church, stopping to clean his boot in a water puddle, he touches the doorknob, he opens the door walking into the Church, he looks around before going to restroom to put on his nun outside, the vampire started to get changed into his nun outfit he clips the cloak together adjusting the cross clip and cloak to cover his shoulders.
"Ah Sister Sonic" Sonic looked over to see Father Infinite, the vampire tries to control himself since the strong blood scent was coming off of the jackal, his eyes darted to see bandages wrapped around the jackal's hand. "Oh this..." Infinite said holding up his arm that was wrapped in bandages, "it was just an accident, I'm okay, but I'm glad you came back today, Sister Sonic"
"Y-Yeah...um...if you excuse me..." Sonic admits he ran off, Infinite scratches his head before shrugging it off. Sonic closes the door to one of the rooms and locks the door, the vampire sinks down to his knees, he can feel his fangs growing back their neutral length. "N-No...Ugh...fight it Sonic...you can't get caught in that state...you'll get staked or worst...forced to be in the sunlight to burn to death" Sonic tells himself as he just started to shake the scent, was to strong...and he wasn't even that close to Infinite. "B-But...a small n-nibble...NO!" The vampire smacks himself hard "Y-Your n-not a monster..."
/Flashback/
Sonic was running from villagers, that were holding wooden stakes, spears with silver bladed tips. The young Vampire had blood on his muzzle and hands, his eyes stained with tears, this wasn't the first village he had flee from, because he couldn't control his hunger, he got himself cornered. "There you are...blood sucking Basterd!"
"I...I d-didn't mean it...p-please have m-mercy" Sonic sobbed, as he held his hand up in protest.
"Like We'll let you live...creatures like you, don't deserve to live, your kind is the reason why we are losing food" One Villager growled.
"Your species is a reason why I lose sleep!" Another one growled.
"Monsters like you...should stay dead...Bloodthirsty, Mortal killer"
"I'm n-not a Monster....I...I would never hurt anyone" Sonic pleaded.
An ebony hedgehog, wearing a black coat, with a symbol of the Monster Hunting Group, dark baggy jeans golden inhibitor rings on his wrists and ankles, with black and red rocket shoes. "S-Shadow y-you believe me right?..." Sonic pleaded.
"Leave...you Undead Freak" Shadow hissed. Sonic blinks as he reaches out to touch Shadow, only to heard the clicking of a pistol, he flattens his ears, "B-But?"
"I SAID LEAVE!!" Sonic flinches back before he sniffs, the village that he grew up in...and the man that he thought he'd loved, the vampire was already covered in bruises and burns, from the holy items that had been used on him, bleeding from silver bullets deep in his wounds...he turned and bolted off, he wasn't going to get far since the sun was close to rising.
His while village turned on him, within a month, pets, pigs, kids...went missing during the night only to be found dead and drained of their blood, it's been like that over the weeks, and the blue vampire had been found drink the blood of a cat. The words Monster repeated in his head.
Those words were always said to him...since he was young hedgehog.

Sonic was standing as far away from Father Infinite, during the prayer, he was already struggling with controlling himself...his vampire senses, slowly taking control, this place was an all you can eat bough-a. The prayer was over and Sonic left the room to the restroom and closed the door locking it behind him. He takes the floorboard out of the floor and pulls out a small pouch of blood and bites into it, sucking the blood out of the pouch, when the pouch was empty he sat down and let out a sigh of relief. It was a close one today. He helped the Church close up for the day, after changing he went home, his ear twitches when he heard charit pulling up, into the village Sonic saw the symbol of the M.H.O Monster Hunter Organization on the side the vampire backs away not wanting to stick around.
An ebony hedgehog, got out of the kart, a white bat wearing a black full body suit, with a heart chest plate, with a light purple vest with the symbol on the back, her bat wings folded, to her back, white heel boots with the same light pink heart on them. This is Rouge The Bat. A yellow fox with twin tails holding a device that he in his hands, tan shorts with extra pockets, being held up by a tool belt, a white t-shirt and a pilot vest, that had different badges, and the same symbol on the sleeve, a pair of pilot goggles on his forehead. This is Miles Prower.
"There is definitely a Monster here..." Miles said.
"Perfect..." Shadow said.
"Hold on Boys...maybe we can stay here for a while, we've been hunting all day" Rouge said.
"She has a point Shadow, and this village seems rather peaceful, and it's only one monster that is hiding in this village" Miles agreed
"Fine...but we aren't staying for long..." Shadow said folding his arms.
Sonic was looking at them from a distance, he only recognized Shadow, his unbeating heart aches at the memories of him and Shadow together before he was kicked out of village, the other two he didn't know, with them here...being in this village isn't safe, now that Shadow actually knows what he is, he looks away. He saw Infinite greeting them as well as the other villagers, the vampire ran off being careful with his cloak to keep it on his body. He makes it to the temple, opening the door and closing it, heard footsteps coming to the temple, the vampire was already gone, through the secret location that he and the other Lords know about, he felt like braking down...right there in the safety of the castle.
Why were the hunters here? Why did it have to be Shadow?
